Caring for pregnant cannabis plants after pollination

The main question has to do with lighting... after pollination, am I able to move pregnant plants under a less intense light? Say 48watt fixture (1/2gal pot/ ~14" tall seeded plant). If feasible, should I wait a week or two for pollen to set before moving to a less lighted area? Will this slow down seed development? ..I fully seeded a few plants and would rather them not take up precious real estate in the boom-bloom-room.

Please share any useful info or tips related to 'Caring for pregnant plants after pollination' (If a thread already exist on this topic, please link me):tiphat:

I can't answer your question if a 48 watts (of cfl?) would be enough but when I pollinated a branch of my lemon OG with afghan kush. I didn't pay much attention to the pollinated branch, overall it was neglected and was shaded by fan leafs of the taller colas. It was a shorter branch then the top sinsimila colas. (I'm using a 150 watt hps which is 16000 lumens). It made pretty good seeds after 3 weeks that would germinate immediately after taking them off the plant and putting them into water.

That is the seeded branch there on the right of the picture. You can see its gonna be getting fairly less light.

itll work but expect seed development to take longer for sure. week or two longer, source (i done it)

You could also leave her under 24 hour lightsince its such low energy, it will work too, sounds crazy i know.

Pollnated preflowers in veg will form seed just fine under veg lighting btw.

I have a few plants in veg. that got hit with pollen, one on purpose.

The one that was supposed to have seeds is an Auto Fruit something from DinaFem.

I notice the one thing I have to watch is ... seeds falling out !

That one got harvested, I just noticed that I was dropping some seeds along the way - seeds I wanted.

For the ones that are left, I would make a plastic cup (with a cutout for the stem) to catch the seeds that fall while it's still in the soil.

Or aluminum foil or something. Something to catch the seeds & keep them dry.
