This is the breeders description:

Breeder : Canna BioGen
Flowering Time : 65 -70 days
Environment : Indoor,Outdoor
Origin : Jamaica
Seeds Per Pack : 12

A first rate backcross (Jamaica x Jamaica/NL5/Haze) between our best female from the Blue Mountains in Jamaica and a champion NL/Haze bring us a great yielding sativa that can be grown indoors. Yield and quality are complemented by its resistancy to plagues, especially those brought about by humid climates.

Time seems to stop as the senses sharpen, this sativa hybrid is a gem sativa lovers love to own.

Flower: 65/70 days. Seventy days for maximun yield. Shortening the light period incrementally from 12 to 8 hours in the last 2 weeks is best to augment resin production and to avoid typical sativa reflowering.

Outdoors: End of Sept/Early October

Yield: 250-375 grams/m2

Have been interested in growing this strain outdoors in Australia. Tried a few searches on the forums, but I couldnt find anything on this strain. Hoping there are some people on here who have experience with this strain. Just hoping to read a report on it or view some pics really.

Although I know you're looking for external reports of Caribe, have you tried contacting Canna-Biogen and asking them for some help? They are very curtious, honest and helpful, and I am sure you wouldn't be dissappointed with their advice. I am sorry if you have already done this,
Sincerley,

The only reviews of Caribe I've found were on the bitox.com spanish language site, where it seems well-liked.

Best,

ezra!! Don't wait no more !! And pop them as soon as you can bro!! I'm 100% sure you'll like them.

The Caribe effect is one of the happiest and warmest Sativas I've ever experience.
Now I understand why the Rasta people from Jamaica like this kind of Sativa's. No body stone just Peace and harmony in your mind; perfect for meditation or just chat and laugh like a "boy with his first hits" with your friends.

Jah bless!

It's decent light daytime weed, tastes like honeysuckles and smells like fruit/berries during flower. I would let it mature on the longer side though. I'm interested to see how it does outdoors in Oz though, probably much better.

I believe and would expect the panama to be more dense in effect while the jama bit more energetic.
But it would mostly depend on phenotypes, panama has a broad set of effects so probably does the jam blue mountain.
However caribe is a hybrid so may some other qualities and it's also somewhere on top of my to-grow list, so can't say more as i don't have the experience.

Cheers

The JBM is more energetic and smell leans a bit towards red berries, sweet and sour fruity vibe. While Panama has a bit more citrus and spice to it and just like Koodense said, the effect tends to be a bit more dense and less clean.

Some phenos of Double Jam, Nepalese Jam and even Caribe (and of course Mextiza) are definitely more party-weed than Panama or Destroyer.

:)

Thanks Koondense and Mustafunk! Caribe is probably the most sativa leaning compared to Jam. Sounds like a winner and I like your description.

Any idea of flo time outdoor 45n? Mid oct? And do you know what kind of feeding it needs? Light on nutes or not. Any idea of yield, mold and pest resistant, well the whole lot of info :peacock:

Thanks guys for sound advice.

Sending some good vibes to you.
