Carbon scrubber question

So I have used the same filter fan light setup I had in a closet for my new grow cab (DIY Filter, 600W Cooltube, and stanley blower). With the filter in the cab the temps shoot right up to 92*-95*, but when I removed the filter from the setup the temps now stay in check at about 78*-80*. Is my filter too small and too restrictive for this cab?

The Cab:

The filter setup:

Not how it is currently setup but a better view of filter:

The filter uses a 4 inch inner core and a 6 inch outer and is 14 inches tall.

How fine was the carbon you used?

The filter is not that big and there's quite a bit of tape on it: a lot of resistance for your fan to overcome. Unless you want to get a more powerful fan making the filter bigger would be the most practical fix

There is alot less tape on there now, trust me I saw the error in that awhile back. But thank you for confirming what I had thought about increasing the size of the carbon, will do that tomorrow.

I suggest making that tube going from ur fan to ur filter strait and not bent 180 degrees.... do you understand what I am talking about?
