You english is better than many here S. The difference in scrubber and filter would be the application, but they are basically the same. A filter is usually a thin unit, designed to remove normal air particles. A scrubber is more industrial, thicker, bigger, and made to run 24/7. Take a look at the diy sticky, at my scrubber if you are looking for simple effective easy to build unit to add to what ever fan you have available. Have fun,

Yeah, make sure you build your own. Much, much cheaper than ordering one that's premade. Just get your activated carbon from a fish tank suppy / pet supply outfit of some sort.

I gotta build a carbon filter I can attach to my cat's litter box. We got four cats and boy their crap stinks! Gotta stop feeding them the wet food and move to the dry. Too bad though, they like the wet so much better. I know this has nothing to do with the thread other than the carbon part, but I just thought I would mention it - why I do not know.

HAHA TGT, I already bought the parts to build a carbon scrubber for my cat litter box (4 cats here), and it's modeled off the ones here in the DIY thread. Good to hear I'm not the only one applying grow tutorials to cat poo :muahaha:

I too am glad I am not the only one. My wife thinks I am crazy, but when it works she will be amazed. She doesn't yet know the ability of a carbon scrubber to remove foul smell. The only thing is I will have to make it as quiet as possible as to not scare the cats. I was thinking of using one of those Panasonic whisper fans they use for washroom ventilation. Anyways, thanks for letting me know I'm not crazy!
