I just ordered this from texas hydro and this is the way it came. Am I supposed to add a flange to this or can I hook the ducting to this somehow? Its a Can100 for an 8 inch fan but the whole is 10 1/2" wide. I cant even find a flange this size around here and hope I dont have to order online as it stinks around here BAD! Do they normally come with the flange?

They normally come with the flange that includes sheet metal screws to screw it in.

At least, my last 3 CAN filter purchases did.

also check out the odorsok at Texashydro it is a inexspensive carbon scrubber/filter

Yeah its 10 1/2 inches across so it may very well be a 10''. I found a 10'' to 8'' reducer and going to try running it with the 8'' vortex .

^^That'll work fine...I had to do the same to get a 6" duct on a Can75. You will want to consider using foil backed tape on that seam tho - it works great for sealing everything and will last.
