caramella dreams - My first try at caramella

:yoinks: This strain really surprized me-it has very potent compact buds. This is definatally a strain that needs to be flowered short cuz it will fall rite over it ya grow it tall. Lots of crystals to go around for everyone.
If someone asked me to describe the buzz from this strain i would tell them it was speed weed. A grrrreattt taste kinda like jasmine-- kinda spicey smooth-very easy to inhale but tough to hold a hit. The strain also struck me as a creeper weed--but in 20 mins you have a perma grim and conversations all of a sudden become alot more interestin.

hope every one like these photosof caramella--ill try to take more when i get some and post them! Thanks for looking

Looks very impressive! I'm a big fan of the upper buzz strains. Sounds like this one is one to add to my list as well.

Nice pics and smoke report. Thanks :)

Timely thread, because I'm growing Caramella too. It's definitely a fast, vigorous grower; I started flowering after three weeks instead of the usual four or five. Halfway through 12/12, I can already see that this strain is going to be a very nice yielder. I took this shot just last week, three weeks into flowering; the buds have filled out some since then. They get fatter every day. :D

The stalks and branches on these plants are very thick. I don't know if this is inherent to Caramella's genetics or because I supercropped, but in any case, these girls definitely have the muscle to carry a lot of bud.

five weeks into flowering

five weeks into flowering

Just wanted to put up another coupla shots of my Caramellas. I am really pleased with the bud-to-leaf ratio on these girls; trimming isn't going to take very long.

You can't see it here, but the pistils are only juuuuust beginning to redden up.

This one gives a better idea of the bud-to-leaf ratio:

nice budshots peeps, is there a caramel phenotype or is the caramel smelling bud's a commercial selling strategy? i plan to buy the beans anyway from what i can see here and because there very stable from what i have heard and at 23-4 pound who can argue??

Hey Neptune, the flowering period is relatively short: 56 days. Bud production picks up noticeably around the fifth week. They're really packing on size and density now...and they're so sticky the resin literally makes my fingers stick together. Tons of trichs, too.

I can't wait to smoke this stuff!! :smoker:

Took another shot of the Caramellas this morning, just after lights out:

I am very impressed with this strain. The buds are blowing up before my eyes, covered with crystals, dense, and very sticky. The strain appears to be a generous yielder.

Blazinup, didn't mean to hijack your thread...if you're still around, I'd love to see how your plants are doing!
