CAP CPPM-4 Co2 led light causing hermies?

Anyone that uses the CAP CPPM-4 Co2 controller: Do you think the LED light (which is green) on the sensor disrupts flowering? I have a few hermie issues this round and also some plants that don't seem to be fully maturing (they are growing white pistols late in flower and aren't fully thickening up) and am wondering if this green LED light has anything to do with it? Do cover up the little light? I figured since it is green it wouldn't matter. What do you think, is it a problem or something else?

I really doubt it's the little green LED causing these problems... What are your temps like ?

So you don't think its the LED causing the hermies and late flowering white pistols. Yeah, you know, now that you say that maybe my temps were a little high. I didn't think they were that high, 84 degrees, with 1100 ppm CO2, but I also did notice some foxtailing this round too>

For the record I have always taped up my Sentinal Evc-2, I just feel safer that way I guess.

I believe I've read on here that high Co2 levels can also cause your flowers to continue spitting white pistils late in flowering.

I run a CHHC-1, which had a red led numbers display, along with green led lights for function lights. Never had a problem with hermies. I'd check elsewhere.

Yeah and I don't think they were caused my temps either... 84 degree's is not high at all if you have high co2 levels.

What strains are you running louie? Are they all going herm or just one strain? Have you run everything you're running now prior, with good results?

Thanks for the replys guys! Yeah I didn't think 84 degrees was too high either, but I did notice that the ones that were throwing out a few nanners were farthest away from my AC and closest to my dehumidifier. I also let them get a little bigger this round, so maybe they were a little too close to the hoods. I ran a few of the same strains and a few new ones. Ones I have run are Warlock, and HOG. And I added Chem 4D, Shark Shock, and Critical Mass. Another variable I thought of was that I watered with evergreen (pyrethrin 5%) about day 30 of flower to combat a root aphid problem I was dealing with, not sure it that had any impact. The reason I thought the nanners and the production of late white pistols could have been from the LED is because a lot of these prblems were in the vacinity of the LED (which was also furthest away from the AC).

all of the general hydroponic co2 sensors can cause hermie!!!

all of the general hydroponic co2 sensors can cause hermie!!!

Okay I had to register just to make this post but I think it is important and this information NEEDS TO BE SHAREED...okay so here is the deal..the co2 monitor has a red and orange light inside YES INSIDE...these lights blink every 10 seconds or so from the inside.. This blinking took almost a year for me to notice..my plants were hermie left and right and a lot of the strains were stable reserva privada strains...so warning this light can and will cause hermies!!!!
I lost thousands of dollars and many good genes were tossed...save yourself and others NOW!!! Please spread this post to as many forums as possible... Peoples gardens are in danger..this is what happens when people have interest in one thing PROFIT..the people who put these devices together probably don't know what there application is so they have that standard red and orange light in them..
