I'll be starting a first grow in soil in a closet which is 4 x 4.5 x 9'. I'll be starting 10 Chronic from Serious. My lighting is the Son-Agro 430 with air cooled hood. My thinking tells me that if I use a 440cfm inline fan off one side of the hood with it vented to the attic, that the open end of the hood will accomplish the air exchange in the room, correct? Not using any CO2. Foxfarm planting mix with their veg and bloom nutes for feeding. TIA.

that fan is the minimum that i would use, you might run into trouble in the hot months...

Thanks Doc. It's always hot months in Florida. Closet temp without lights or vent right now is 75..Hum..50%. All under air.

umm... a 430 cfm should be MORE than plenty...

i only use a 265 cfm on a 600 watter... temps never go above 78 and the temps have been near 100 outside here the last couple of days.

california we reach 100+ i use 3500 cfm on when 1k light comes on, so far ...87 max...59 low, with this years temps no where near 100 yet.To much, is usually just enough :wink: . Hey Harley it sure is gonna stink . Good Luck
