Can't figure out what's wrong.

My plants are all looking pretty bad, and I can't figure out what's wrong. The leaves are curling downward, which is a sign of overwatering, so I figured I'd wait it out but the longer I wait the more my plants look progressively worse.

General Tidbits: 16 Dixie cup seedlings 22 inches from cooltube
Light: 400W
Soil: equal parts FFOF,Happy Frog, Light Warrior, amended with perlite
Nutes: None yet
Symptoms: leaves curling under as well as brown spots developing on leaves.

AK47 not looking very pleased.

hey brother. how is your airflow, and do you have holes at the bottom for drainage? What is your temperature max/min? Where is your humidity at?

They are over watered; get them out of the mixture and just put them in a mixture of light warrior; you just put in 2 of the strgest mixes you can by in the bag....... seedlings do not like that strong mixture; light warrior is the best bet you can do with what you have they are for seedlings......

Besides they are over watered; how often were you watering your plants?

High Jinks: My temps are well in check between 68 and 80. In the last pic, that gap there is one long vent that I have yet to finalize. After all, I think I'm gonna leave it like that, and I definitely have drainage holes.

Stitch: I trust your vast body of experience, but before we make a diagnosis, I should probably mention . . . when they were just out of their seeds, the mixture was already watered. I watered them again about 5 days later when the cups felt dry, but at that time I'd already noticed 3 or 4 of the plants curling downward. After I watered them (that was 3 days ago) things took a turn for the worse. I also noticed brown spots like in the first pic; they're all over.

I only have one bag of light warrior and limited funds, so I'll try to make things work. And thanks for your help, gentlemen.

The brown spotting is from the mixture being too strong.......
When you water you don't want to water the whole cup; you want to water only where the seed is and keep the area where the tap roots are wet until they get around 3 sets of leaves then you want to water the cup. This prevents over watering.

if you want healthy plants soon, listen to Stitch. Your medium is too strong for those very young plants...
