Cannabutter With Kief

So I've been reading around and I'm trying to get a rough idea of a good ratio. I've heard 1 G of kief to every half cup of butter but that seems low when you divide it per edible(cookie, slice etc) So i'm hoping to hear from some who have cooked with kief and what's a good ratio to make some medium-strong powered edibles.

Cheers

not sure man, but here's a way to maybe findout
I use one cup of trim to every half cup of butter. so see how much sift/kief comes off of a cup of shake? and that should be pretty close, maybe add some more for lost leaf material...
Hope somebody has a better answer.
youtube has vid's for making all kinds of cannabis products, just type in keif cookies, marijuana cookies keif...

I think the proper way to figure this out is to determine how much hash a person wants to eat to be considered a proper dose. When you look in to what the guys who make hash pills do, they use about 1/3 of a gram per dose for a very effective high.

so 1 gram = 3 servings or maybe you can call it 4 serving per gram so not to make them too strong.

the next question would be how much butter is used in your recipe and how many servings does it make.

lets use brownies as an example.

Everyone knows alton brown is your go to when it comes to a proper recipe. His brownie mix calls for 8 ounces (2 sticks) of butter per 8" square brownie pan. I estimate this 8" squared as 9 servings.

9 doses at .25-.33 of a gram per dose = 2.25 to 3 grams of hash per batch of "alton brownies"

The recipe I speak of

Ingredients
Soft butter, for greasing the pan
Flour, for dusting the buttered pan
4 large eggs
1 cup sugar, sifted
1 cup brown sugar, sifted
3 grams hash
8 ounces melted butter
11/4 cups cocoa, sifted
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup flour, sifted
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
Directions
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F. Butter and flour an 8-inch square pan.

In a mixer fitted with a whisk attachment, beat the eggs at medium speed until fluffy and light yellow. Add both sugars. Add remaining ingredients, and mix to combine.

Pour the batter into a greased and floured 8-inch square pan and bake for 45 minutes. Check for doneness with the tried-and-true toothpick method: a toothpick inserted into the center of the pan should come out clean. When it's done, remove to a rack to cool. Resist the temptation to cut into it until it's mostly cool.

Thanks man, I will be trying that! As for the cannabutter, I put 8.8G's to 2lbs of butter. Might have gone a little overboard but better to make it a little strong then weak. I cooked the butter cleaning off the boiling water off the top, then mixed the kief in and mixed for 20 minutes, gave it 10 min to just cook and then put it into containers. Considering re-heating it tonight for another little cook and then baking with it.
