Cannabutter with concentrates?

Hey guys sorry if this has been posted or asked a million times, I was unsure what terms to search for this.

I was wondering if I can make cannabutter with concentrates like icewater extracted supermelt? It doesnt even melt and its harsh so I do not want to smoke it, can I just break it all up and make cannabutter like normal?

This may be a stupid question but I am very uneducated on edibles, it seems where I come from people who know alot about edibles have evaded me thus far aha.

TLDR: Can I make cannabutter with concentrates like supermelt or kief? Do I need a different process then when making with bud? THANKS

You can just mix the keif straight into whatever your cooking or just melt some butter on low heat (I use a double boiler method of a metal bowl laying in a large pot of boiling water, just don't let the bowl tip over and pour into the water) and mix the keif into that then let it cool. You won't have to go through the filtering process because there is not enough leaf matter to cause bad tastes and textures.

Thanks, do you know if this will be the same for the "supermelt" its basically water extracted hash that bubbles a bit before it hardens, should I just break it up and mix it in as well? Thanks!

Most likely you can chop it up and mix it in or melt it into some butter or oil first. You want to make sure it gets mixed well so someone doesn't get most of the good stuff in their piece and cheat the rest. My first cannabis infused dish was a disaster, I mixed a bunch of leaves into a spaghetti sauce without straining the leaves, it was like chewing on lawn clippings. I've gotten a lot better over the years.

Oh man imagining eating that is disgusting haha! Question if I only have a gram of the supermelt and want to make one cookie can that work? Sorry if these are absurdly noob questions, I really am clueless to the cooking side of things.
