So, I was reading on my breeder's website about their method of butter making. Passed it over many times before, but they mentioned letting the butter and material simmer for as long 72 hours before congealing.
My dehydrator has a thermostat from 35 C- 75c and I was thinking of immersing my sugar leaf into melted butter for 48 hours or so in the dehydrator @ 65-70C. I have shallow containers that will allow total immersion of the leaf in oil.
Would that be hot enough?
Will there be an issue with evaporation from the oil? or some hidden process I might be unaware of?
Thank you!
