I'm speaking about myself but this thread is for everyone. I have schizophrenia where I imagine people are there and bipolar where it feels like I began using one hemisphere of my brain.

It's in my head. It is disorientation.

I don't know how to explain it, Mari j sometimes is bad and I don't know why.

Have you ever tried pure sativa? I know that sounds counterproductive but I ask because i have a friend in Dallas whos gf suffers from schizophrenia(i believe its a certain kind), but she can actually enjoy some of the landraces ive grown (panama). Now keep in mind thats just her and she doesnt smoke that often. But i was just curious if youve tried sativa. I worked in a state hospital back in the day and knew some schizophrenics that definitely stayed away from it.

It's in my head. It is disorientation.

What is my mind?

Does it contain only 'me'. Is it like a radio receiver?

Is it a multidimensional spaceship capable of carrying multiple passengers/hitchikers?

Am i sharing this ride?

How many passengers do I have?

Take a good look at them. One of them residing in your head will be responsible and reasonable.

Seek out and appoint a reasonable and responsible conductor. You will know who they are...

Give them full authority over the others. Ask them to tell the rowdy unpleasant ones to get the fuck into the back seat and keep it down or they get kicked off next stop! Or just tell them to kick them off!

They will plead and beg and do anything not to be ejected...

Wishing you peace and calmness.

There's nothing wrong with you, though you may have special abilities.

It's the US gov. & much of the US population that is Mentally Ill.

I was diagnosed with schizophrenia by a crappy psychiatrist 5-10 years ago and put on tons of different medications and finally Haldol. Made me like 50 pounds overweight. It's a neurotoxin. Anyway I was screaming and punching walls and the bogus doctor told me it was schizophrenia. I'm planning on getting off the Haldol and seeing a new psychiatrist.
I don't know what's happening with you but I doubt you've really got the schizophrenia my dude...thankfully. I've met some people with it, they like can't function like you and me. Have you tried a low dose of Clonazepam/Klonopin?
Pot makes your symptoms worse? Maybe doing edibles would give you a different effect. What about Vapes?
Hang in there my bro!!! 👍

Don't High levels of THC trigger Schizophrenia, if the person already is predisposed that is.?
That was my understanding.
Watch out for Synthetic Cannabinoids and Cannabidiols. Their potency is very high, and are apparently toxic for many reasons including the delta derivative which is created out of oils extracted from hemp grown for industrial purposes and isn't grown to food grade standards, correct me if I am wrong on that fact please, but note that the use of pest controls is going to be really high and therefore may be present at high levels within the extracted product?
I don't think weed grown naturaly has ever really cause anyone issues, but when people start throwing pyrethrum at it then putting it to market... thats where the brain damage happens.
But Brain chemistry is also incredible and can be very dynamic from person to person.
This may sound lunatic.. but i am one.. have you tried doing a trial of sampling? Small .25g/day hits of differeing cannabis every second day for a bit? Therapy? Or do you have access to a doctor that deals with medical weed?

Like most folks i think its different for everyone. I knew a guy in Austin that would blast through an ounce a day sometimes but that was low thc brickweed. The only time i saw him lose it was when some hippie at a coffeehouse convinced him to smoke a bowl of san pedro cactus. That set of all kinds of bells and whistles

Chief you keep on bashing the US and we will have to mobilize the rhode island national guard and come on up there and take the place 😁

shit, an ounce a day? thats a fuck load of smoke to be pushing through the lungs.
Two years ago I took a shot the head froma tree that came back at me whilst i was felling it, and had the most insane consussion ever. haha. cant believe im alive man. anyways, I smoked so many fucking spliffs per day laoded with whatever my land lady was selling. I bought an ounce every 4 days, and that was the only thing keeping me from suicide.. just staying sudated and staring at the ever soaked wintery west coast cedars appearing and disappearing into the layers of endless shades of grey. truley a strange time where i visited real mental illness for a temporary time in my life.
i saw the title of this thread and it literally was the two things that kept my brain in one peice during that time

This is good to talk about.

I've been looking for my Operators Manual for this 1982 Human for sometime...

Having just came off of a 4 year smoke free hiatus, (hair testing for a custody case) I will admit. I smoked a couple times and thought - maybe you love this plant but you aren't suppose to smoke it... maybe you're just supposed to grow it for people?

I also took my first toke after that break and immediately started stretching and praying. Like I'd just plugged back into the spirit world.

Each mind and body is wildly different. Almost day to day my tolerance and reactions are different to THC. Sometimes scary and introspective but always a learning process.

Just a theory - I sometimes see it as a vitamin that needs to build up in my system. For me my system has to be completely saturated with thc before the majority of my injestions become pleasant.
I'm currently using rso paste plus cbd paste together and have found pleasant experiences as I've taken more and more challenging dosages. Usually 2:1 more cbd paste than thc. It's been nice. But sometimes the rapid onset of a smoke can still be unpleasant for me.

So basically I'm experimenting on myself!

As for tobacco - I stopped smoking in my late 20s and will not smoke it again. It is a very powerful medicine and I've learned it should really just be used as an offering for prayer.
That mf-er had its claws in me deep!

I quit drinking alcohol 4 years ago. That made life a lot easier.
Now I'm skeptically analyzing my coffee intake... I don't think it's doing me any favors. Just another one of those wildly accepted drugs that society never second guesses. I know I know - unpopular opinion. I'm sorry I spoke of the bitter bean soup. I speak for myself - not you - so fear not. I'm not coming for your guns or your coffee.

There needs to be more dialog about mental health so I'm very glad to see it here.

Anyone ever supplemented with magnesium?
There's a powder called "Calm" that you can mix into your drinks. It works great but if you over-do it you will shit like a goose!
If you're a nervous person I highly recommend it.
As well as 5HTP for sleep.

Over and out

Mag, for sure in the past. It is once of best supplements for muscle function as well. Something to do with it being a soft metal and it being semiconductive and a certain charge that helps the nerve system operate the muscles.
The part in your theory about rapid onset being an issue, i definitely have relate my whole life. First tim blazing, this guys in penticton hooked me up with some craazy shit. the hills turned purple and skaha lake was frozen in id summer with people jumping off the docks smashing ice lol. Also, having made tinctures from pink kush before i learned that even 5 drops can have the same effect as a brick smashing one in the face.
Again though, same as you, it's never the same day to day.
As for 5htp; its great if you've got the blues. IF you are using antidepresents or SSRIs DO NOT TAKE 5htp!!!!!!!!! this is DANGEROUS! It will imbalance the balance your meds gave you.
just a heads up.
