Hey canna,

I will respond to your post to me tomorrow, it's getting late here. For now: I am interested in maybe working together to build a very large collection of papers for a decided site. I probably have 75-100 MB worth of studies, or more, I could share. I am sure you have many I have, but I also am sure we each have studies the other does not..unite and conquer! :)

Also, I see you are removing papers and uploading new ones, can I ask why? Do you have less upload space than I? I have uploaded just over 31 MB worth of studies to ICmag, and it looks like I have about 20-25 MB of space left. If I were to guess, I would say I have a total of 50-60 MB of space for uploads. Do you have less than 50 MB? I ask because I cannot image that you are running out of space if you do have near 50 MB of upload space, especially becuase we are limited to 1 MB per file.

Would you mind listing the papers you upload/ed? Maybe make a post here where you list the papers you upload, so if you remove them people can still see what is 'out there' and then find the full text on their own. I worry that I may miss some good papers you post and then remove, and I don't want to miss any good papers.

While I believe legitimately one cannot post such material without obtaining the proper rights (unless you know otherwise concerning academic studies, copyright, making them public, or pay for access, etc), doing so is quite attainable. I don't know the kosherness involved really...

Remember that any research paid for, even in part, with US government money is fair game. The publishers had fits about this, but that's how it is. Hope I'm not stating the obvious, but Medline records have a line that clarifies the funding source (for materials indexed in Medline). My lab had an issue with one of the major publishers about using one of our own papers. Seems that we can't sign away copyrights we don't have.

- Tester, I know I have seen (all? most?) the journal of industrial hemp all online somewhere, either at their website or perhaps through the MAPS website.. It took a little time to find and navigate but I downloaded articles from them, but not every one, because it was all available free...
 
Acetominophen's metabolite, AM404 has many interesting pharmacological properties, of which includes modulation of the endocannabinoid system and possible cannabinoid receptor binding. Also binds to TRPV1.

Echinacea alkylamides bind to CB2 receptor. Also supposedly has weak CB1 activity, and possible FAAH inhibition.

Oh, and smoking pot improves one's night vision!

@ Tester: I hope I didn't upload duplicate studies to your Google Doc's account, I searched for files at Google Doc's and form your post here. Also, it appears you are uploading non-cannabis specific studies to your Google Doc's account, as well as cannabis specific; I assume it okay for me to do the same?

- I have TONS of articles. Many I can't even upload here because of file size ;)

You, Tester and I need to get together and workout how to organize all of our papers, and put them in a place where they are easy to find in a well organized format. I think Tester's idea of buying space at Zotero server may be a good route, I'm gonna buy some space next week and see how it goes.


- So you can't even imagine what you are missing ;)

That's my worry with how you, tester, and I, are now uploading files. There is no structure for any of us, so even if we all uploaded all of our papers, it would be hard/impossible to easily dig through all the uploaded studies with ease ...


- 30 new articles for now will do. Some of these are the most recent research of the year ;)
