Buy yourself a nice landrace strain (unchanged genetically for many years), grow it out and tell me the herb of today is 10x stronger LMFAO

I think the potent strains are more available throughout the world now and all of the many hybrids they inspired are being created by many. Cloning made this possible, and the need for this wonderful herb to cure mind and body naturally spread the love. I bet theres some old heads that would argue that. But I would agree that "stronger or more potent" mj is more readily available due in large part to the advent of the internet and sites like these.

Why don't they spend more time worrying about meth junkies and crackheads. I just don't get it. The biggest difference in pot 30 years ago and pot today is sensimilla. When they measured pot in the 70's, they were measuring brickweed, which was a combination of male and seeded female plants. The THC levels were typically 2-5%. Today if they measured brickweed, they would probably get similar results. However in measuring only unseeded female plants, they are going to come up with much higher THC levels. All the rest of their bullshit is just that. "BULLSHIT"

in the bad old days, there was a lot of crap in the bag ... leaf, stem, seed . i dont recall ever seeing an actual bud until more recently . so, i guess, on average, the herb user is getting much better stuff these days, but does a 2007 trichome pack 10 times the effect of a 1968 trichome ? i doubt it very much . regardless, i can easily go without ganja for a day or two; try doing that with coffee and see how you feel.

its the fact back in the day and even now they have brick weed or ditch weed wich is the whole plant basically.. no trimming so by weight you had less thc but if it was trimmed it would be the same..

yes it has gone up id say 5% max.. in the past 20 years.. when you compared high grade then to high grade now..

i think there study is with Crap old weed and High grade new stuff..

the strains and enhancements mainly have been flavor and yield with THC in there. but yield has been the leader for most cross's...

it's reefer madness scare tactics for the new millenium. unfortunately, many straight citizens believe that shit.

stunning reefer was around when i was a kid and that was in the 60's. admittedly it is much easier to get thanks to all the dedicated growers. hide your daughters, the super weed makes guys horny.

i'm too high and lazy to look it up but i would think that reefer that grew in an area with many enemies would produce the most thc as they make trichs as a defense against sucking and chewing insects. i think.

left to itself, with no human intervention, i believe all reefer in a geographic area would be quite similar in appearance and high, very little variation. some one wrote a paper about genetics and dogs. it stated that if dogs were just left to fuck indescriminately for many generations, the result would be dogs that were mostly a mid size yellow color.

some little old man was breeding great reefer for religious rituals many millenia ago. thank you little old man! we are carrying on the tradition.
