cannabis listerine tabs

I have only seen these just recently as a tester.not on the shelf at any coop yet but I guess soon to be.Taste minty totaly would never know they could get you high.A friend and I thought they were listerine tabs and they just wanted to see if we liked the taste.so we cut a lil bit and tasted it, tastes like a breath mint.So calling the person we got this from and stoopidly saying they taste alright just like a mint.Not knowing they want to know how high they get you lol.............after trying them they give you a nice lil buzz.Anyways now I am trying to figure out how they are made.I know they are rice paper (aka wafer paper) sheets.I haven't figgured out wether you have to make the paper yourself out of rice flour and infuse cannabis then.........or If you just buy the sheets of rice paper and soak them in a cannabis butter or oil so the paper absorbs the mix.If anyone has heard of these ,has a recipe or any idea that would be cool .otherwise I will just trial and error.

they just sound like those wrileys wafer thin thingys, they come in a little pastic square box and are very intense mintyu...instead of gum which i think is dsgusting pesonally...anyway i think ur mate is pulling ur plonker.....

Ah, Laughing Buddah don't let it get to you bro. A thick skin helps one through these 'razzing' periods. If ya can make it through without having to label someone else an asshole....that much the better. ^^^^^^ My wife and I got some of these @ MSCG as well. Didn't seem too strong to either of us, but we smoke quite a bit as she has Harrington Rods and I have spondololythesis = lots of pain.

How did you know they were rice paper?

We couldn't figure that part out, but we assumed it must be an alcohol extraction mixed with a little flavoring (we got a mint one and a cinnamon one). There was a distinctly "menthol/ chemical" aftertaste that we couldn't decide was the result of the process or the original starting material, though. Maybe if one started with pure ethanol?

Anyway, would love to see this one worked out in a reasonable fashion as the sublingual delivery method seems ideal.

Found this in a search. Sounds like making your own rice paper would be a major pain in the ass!

Rice is soaked about 3hours before grinding --> grinding rice --> Straining powder (reject mixture refining powder)--> Soaking powder --> Squeezing powder (rejecting sour substances)--> Processing rice paper (powder is spreaded even by and steamed heat--> Drying in the sun (using bamboo frame) to get good taste and smell - Using wind to dry indoor and cutting shape --> Quality control- Packing.

referencing an article that was posted semi-recently here, they're made from a material called Pullulan i believe, definitely not rice paper. search for the article about the LA dispensary owner, maybe a month old or two. it's referenced a few times in there.
