Cannabis Cup 2007

Im interested in trying to go to this years cannabis cup with a couple of friends. None of us have ever been. I was looking online and found all sorts of stuff but nothing that gives an exact location of the events. Does anyone know where i can find these. I just want to try to get a hotel near it all so I dont have to travel all that far seeing as how we will hopefully be busy absorbing the cannabis cup experience!! Also any other information for this Cup virgin would be appreciated, i.e. good hotels restaurants flights, whatever would help me. thanx happy smokin....

You wont have to travel far bro, just look up the address of the shop and go from there, all events are near there i suspect, centrum - Amsterdam.

1st which cup are you refering to?
the 420 growers cup or the HT cannabis cup.

reading the threads in this forum will give you all the answers we know.

and hothouse... which coffee shop should i look up the address for? sorry like i said im new to the whole cannabis cup thing and i couldnt find any info on names of places or locations, just that its gonna be in amsterdam and the dates and prices.

As long as you set up close to the bootique youll be fine. Look up 163 singel. Thats where its at! Lots of icmagers will be there too and they usually have wake and bakes at the shop during that time. Hope that helps!

Get a cooffeshop map, Seedboutique is across the Singel canal from The Gray Area Coffeeshop..You can get a coffeeshop map online..You could hit Seedboutique with a rock from the Grey Area..Hope this helps....mitsu1

most of the threads in this forum will be dealing with the IC 420 growers cup.
for direct info on the high times cup check out their website.
they likeyl do not have the locations finalised and thus dont display that info.

The coffeeshop entries in the HT Cannabis Cup are usually the same shops, for the most part, like Barney's, Dampkring, Greenhouse and several others. You can get a pretty good idea of the overal cup scene by looking at last years cup entries, the winners and videos made of the cup. The "official" Cannabis Cup website has alot of info. It's here: http://www.cannabiscup.com/ht/cancup/ There are also several videos about the cup on You Tube. I dont like the High Times Cup cause I think it's a rip off for the amount of money you have to pay to attend and it's not about the best weed in the world, or in Holland for that matter, (only a handful of Amsterdam shops care to participate) but more about a popularity contest and which shop "buys" first place.
