canna oil in the oven attempt 2

My first attempt was following istructions on canna oil got other then the i.c, i was advised to put the temp at around 350 farenheit for 30 minutes, i used extra virgin olive oil, i came to cheeck on it around the 20 minute mark and it was bubbling, i though ' my oven runs hot, and ive prob ruined it'' , well i consumed a day later n it did nada, wasted 4 grams again, edibles are trial n error so far n trial n sucess, im still wasting weed at times.

my attempt tonite was about 3.5 grams in a half a cup of grape seed oil at 275, im guessing it went about 3 hours, the oil looks good, there was no bubbling but the de carbed erb looks like it absorbed into the grapeseed oil, ill consume in the moring tomoorw n let u guys now, i figure with stovetop cannaoil method that involves thermometers n constant stiring n monitoring temps etc there must be a perfect temp n method for a in stove brew were u just set the temp n walk away. im gonna lock it down someday. if anybody has tried making oil in the stove with sucess please let me know, im also getting more coconut oil again which i think works well.

Are you decarboxylating your weed before adding it to the oil? I've found that decarbing is best done dry (preheat oven to 300 F, then turn it off before inserting dry ground bud for 4 minutes), after which you can extract the cannabinoids in fat or alcohol. I think decarbing and extracting should be viewed as two separate processes. Sounds like more work, but I find that it results in more efficient extraction.
 
i always decarb, once the smell comes out fully its done, then into the oil, the 3.5 grams isnt enough, i realized i used way to much oil, i added 3 more grams to it tonite n set my oven to 275 which for some reason days later made the oil slighty simmer more so i lowered it to 250, tommorw im gonna add a little to my coffe and it should be good, hopefully its potent.

I once tried to make cannaoil in an oven with coconut oil and kief but was unable to make it as potent as I can on a stove top with the mix-in-water method. There must have been some unknown variables involved that were beyond me.
 
u have to get your temps to wear there is the slightest movement round the lip of your container, n maybe a few tiny bubble every few minutes, my oven does this at about 250 like i said, after i came back last night to check on it i knew i did it as the surface had them bubbles n oily look u get when it comes out right, what i like about the oven is the solid temp surrounding all the oil, not just the bottom upwards, i thinks its less to monitor, im getting new extra virgin coconut oil again soon, my grapeseed oil taste like shit even though it works. i think ill eventually make a oil that is teaspoon lethal.

How many doses do you think this batch will yield? You should be able to extract at least 50 doses of cannaoil from 6.5 grams of bud (assuming that a gram of bud would get you high at least 10 times if you smoked it). That would be about a half teaspoon of oil per dose if you start with a half cup (24 tsp) of oil.

u got me bro, i just added some more to the last batch n she in the oven again for a few hours more, ill try a teaspoon tommorow morning n let u know what my does count is, the erb is decent that im useing and i dont want to be laying on the floor unable to get up im so baked which happened one day weeks back on eds, so i only dose light untill i know whats going on with it.

so with all ive added im at 9 grams in a half a cup of which ive dosed of a few times im at roughly 7 grams in less then a under a quater cup.
