Canna Cogr buffer

Hello stoners and stonettes, due to a recent leakage in my bank account I'm being forced to tighten up my budget. This means instead of canna coco plus I'll be using gardman coco coir blocks, cheapest bricks I can find at 560L/£45. First time using bricks...cant be that hard right?

Following cocoforcannabis guidelines but was wondering should I soak w/ Canna cogr buffer agent+CalMg+Fe? Does anyone know what this buffer agent is? Is it just CalMg in disguise?

Thank you in advance:)

P.S. Fe(Iron) because its also lost in coco, see advanced nutrients blog.

If you're being really cheap, just use your usual feed. The treatment tis to put the right balance of cations on to the coco, but your feed has the right balance. That is somewhat simplified but right enough. Also you could find cheap coco is already salted, but all wrong, so a wash is more important than anything else. Pure water is a good solvent for the job, if you have RO handy. If you are stuck with limited resources, then ice from the freezer might give enough clean water to see what washes out a small bit of coco. Or you could get creative and boil some water with up up-turned pan lid and catch the drips in a cup sat in the pan. Some cold water in the lid, and you will soon distill a bit of water. That is the real issue with cheap coco. It comes in poor condition. Such that the anions are already populated with the wrong stuff, that won't just be exchanged by a buffering solution. If your in the south west you could have soft enough water from the tap, as you talk of cal/mag
