canna butter...should my leaf/trim be dry or wet?

ive done it once with 2 males plants, all leaves, and stored them in the freezer. they were still wet when they went into the cooker and it looked more like spinach than anything. it worked tho as i got a great buzz after eating 2 or 3 cookies...but good for only males.

this time ive got 2 females but dont know if i should dry the leaf/trim first or use it wet....also...can i use like "yellowing" leaves? ive got a stack of dried out leaves that have fallen off but am not sure if they are usable. i KNOW all leaf has some thc in it but didnt know if the thc was lost when the leaf got all yellow and died out

my potential butter mates, very small plants but i dont need much. and im a noobie

better to use dry, something about the drying process that helps change the cannaboids to a more useable form, just like smoking.. its better to smoke cured bud than just chopped... and when i make butter i use everything.. fan leaves, sugar trim, popcorn buds and yes the occasional yellow leaf. it cant really hurt.. just throw it all in.

Yeah I tend to use everything as well because it really can't hurt but Endo is right, dried buds are far more effective.
