Canna butter from dry ice hash question.

I made some dry Ice hash and am wondering about dosing amounts from making butter. I would like to make some toffee out of it. The recipe takes 1 pound of butter and makes a 11X17 cooking sheet a quarter of an inch thick. I would get about 160 1inch by 1 inch pieces. The strain I used is not a knock you out strain by is good if you want to still get around some. It is called Big Blue. I have 27 grams of hash to work with. Here is a picture to show the purity of the has.

I have never cooked with this so any ideas would help. Thanks IC.

Dump the whole batch in if its not potent and you want 160 squares...or dump.it all in then after its made cut a 1 inch square and see if it gets you.medicated...if not do 1.5 and work your way up until you find that.perfect dose

Maybe I should restate it's potency. Some one who does not smoke all the time will get high on a quarter joint. On the other hand some one who smokes a lot and has a high tolerance can smoke it and say it is OK. It is not a strong strain but it is not a weak strain. Better than most but not overpowering.

do test for potency first or you may rip yourself a new one. take the desired quantity and cook it into some coconut oil or butter to decarboxilate so you get full potency then consume. in an hour you will have an idea which way to go.

Testing for potency first is a good idea. I'd wait maybe 2 hours after testing to get a good idea of how strong it's going to be. Sometimes I feel it after an hour, but it takes a good 2 or 3 to get to the peak effects. Are these going to be just for you? If so, it's easy to adjust for the desired potency with some testing.

If I was making a batch of 160, I'd want them a little weaker myself. That way I could get a mild high from one or a more moderate high from 2 or 3. Or get blasted on 4 or 5. If the toffee is good, you'll probably feel like having more than one at a time.

It is for some one else. The last time they ate my unlaced toffee one guy ate a 3rd of it at once. Which is just over a stick of butter and a cup of sugar. He did not feel well afterwards. So I will have to make them on the weak side.
