I'm purchasing a 6" inline fan to cool a 1200w dual bulb growzilla in a DR150

The CANFAN is 248 cfm

The PowerFan Vortex is 449 cfm

they are the same price

which will be quieter on my DR150?

ALSO I was looking at these backdraft dampers, which i am going to need

they have electric ones and just regular ones.... how do these work?

Most of the noise is air movement. I'd imagine moving less than half the air would make the Can model the quieter of the two. Will the Can cool your light? Don't know. Try running your numbers through this fan-intake calculator

The dampers have a vertical flap that covers the hole. It will flip open horizontally in one direction only. Air going the wrong way shuts the flap. Is it airtight? I wouldn't trust it without close inspection.

I haven't used the Can-Fan, but I've used Elicent, Fantech, and Vortex. And now I only use Vortex. They are quieter than the others I've used and they have a longer warranty. Also, if you buy online they are very comparable price-wise.
