Hey everyone,

Have you every heard of or tried this strain?

It is the 2nd place sativa winner at the High Times Medical Cannabis Cup (USA) in 2010 but I can't seem to find anyone talking about it or growing it here....

Any info on the strain or leads on where to acquire it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
BeL

Tried some of this from the Green Door months ago. Strong candy stank and good high. I liked it more than the cookies they had there.

Someone on GC said
I belive it's candy apple haze x Jack Herer. The Green Door in San Francisco carries it

is a cross between Cotton Candy (kush) and Jack Herer. Its available at a few clubs in the bay area. Including my favorite in Vallejo, W.S.G.

I have gotten it from rite green's san diego branch (very corporate feel but consistent fire) and a couple others. awesome taste and smell but does not do all that much to my head considering how high the thc level is. Would be the perfect smoke for ladies, lightweights or when you don't want to get totally twisted. By the third rip I have pretty much topped out. (Feel the same about their holy grail og and private reserve og fwiw). seems very popular though and have heard it is a candy kush cross
but seeing all the grows in your sig I would think your opinion might mean more

couldn't help but notice the 31% THC...whoever is running that lab is out to lunch. I assure you Candy Jack isn't nearly that high ;) nice herbs tho

There's a few Bay Area clubs with awesome jack hybrids, never see them offering clones tho...
The closest I've come from seed has been TGA vortex and Chernobyl.

My montreal candy jack, mostly sure she's more on the jack h x cotton candy side!

Her smell remind me of old school catholic church while she's in veg! (no skunk smell)

I was doing some more research to see if i can find this strain.

Seems it might be renamed J1 or J-1. Which is Skunk #1 x Jack Herer
Candy Jack Strain Is A Sweet Tasting And Uplifting J1 Phenotype

I found this particular batch of the Candy Jack phenotype on a recent trip to VFL Collective in the North Hollywood area. It was lab tested at 27.9% THC and 0.7% CBD.

While I would have liked to see higher cannabidiol (CBD) numbers, I found smoking this strain to be a helpful mood regulator. With that said, the Candy Jack phenotype may be beneficial for those suffering from depression or ADHD.

Thoughts? Still really want the chance to grow this strain out someday :D
