Can you use a butane/iso extract...

Can you use a butane/iso extract to make canna butter?

I was wondering if I took my honey oil and dissolved it into butter, could I use it for cooking?

I realize there are some residues left from both iso and butane washes, but what I don't know is what they are and if they are dangerous (or in sufficient quantity even) to do any harm. Any thoughts?

Great news. Thanks

I've read that you use 1 oz of bud/trim per lb of butter (please correct me if I am wrong). So am I correct in assuming that the results of 1 oz extraction would also have acceptable results in a lb of butter, or do I need to go stronger/lighter?

<edit> also, am I correct in assuming I can skip the simmer for hours part this way? I'm thinking I can just melt the butter and let the oil dissolve in, correct? No need for water or hours of simmering (thats the issue I have with all the recipies I've read).

Wiimote keep in mind how much bud/trim it takes to ma a ounce of iso/hash oil. 1 oz of oil is or can be up to a around of trim.

personally i'd say start off with half or 1/4 ounce and work you way up you can always re melt the butter and add more hash if you need to.

Edibles haven't really ever hit me very hard.

I made chocolate last night i put 5 grams of HIGH grade amber iso oil in 15 oz of chocolate. no joke, i took 1 bite from the bar, couldn't be more than 5-10 grams of chocolate and i was smashed for 4 hours. i went to get food and when i got back i could figure out why i was so damn high, i kept thinking to myself i haven't smoked in at least a hour. thats when i realized it had to be the chocolate.
