Can you switch back to Veg if you're in Flower?

Hi I have a few plants I started to flower, left with less females than I thought so I want to veg it again.

The plants have been in flower for 2 weeks, Just started showing starts of bud (just white hairs ya know).

My question is, can I switch back to 18/6 and veg them some more without it effecting the plants at all?

you should be able to take some cuttings of the lower branches which havent started flowering yet. can use one as a mother then and have a constant supply of females :D

I agree with smokey try and find a cutting towards the bottom woth no pistils, its very important.Being that the plant has already been put into flower,I dont know how good an idea having the clone become a new mother though,I've just had too many problems with cuts that arent true "veg cuts",another words the hormonal change that occurs during 12/12 tends to have a negative effect on the clones.(pistilly clones in veg,non-serrated single fans and such,12/12 and cloning just dont interact well if anyone knows what I mean

Different strains of course re-act differently, basically you can't change back to 18 and expect, "normal" vegetive growth immediatly, most likely the plant will continue to bud, somewhat in veg. for at least a week or so... and the growth may be quite badly distorted(often new branches form out of existing buds, veg growth reverts back to single leaf growth). However it "could" revert back rather quickly with little apparent effect, you really won't know unless you try. doin whats been suggested is your BEST BET for getting a usable moma QUICKLY. Should be cloneable in about 4wks.. Take several of them and you have another crop ready to go in 1 mo... let this girl finish her job.

Peace

I have done it to the same plant multiple times. It never went hermi, at all. It produced great bud, and lots of it. The only negative thing was a complete halt in growth for several weeks, which sucks, but it sounds like you are gonna be starting some new seeds, or clones anyway. Thats just my personal experience anyhow. Good luck.

I'd day yes too, with a good genetic hermies are not a real concern unless your light cycle is fucked up consistently.

Indulge me here though, they will stall for awhile wich will set you back 3-4 weeks, that's already 1/3 to 1/2 of a typical flowering time, it seems to me it better to take some clones from the bottom branches and continue flowering even if you have a few less plants. :2cents:

Taking clones does seem like the best option, if it is an actual option at all. Perhaps ezbake is unable to use clones this time, in which case switching back will work.

Nailed it Ecug, I am a beginner... meaning I've grown about 3 times and never cloned. And ive never had a grow work 100% yet but my last grow that was cuz I had to move early. They were looking pretty good though

I took a few clones using schultz take-root, I used 2 cups, one had distilled water in it, the other was put upside down with a hole in the top,- i stuck the cutting through the hole in the water. They' have been there 3 days now, no root yet. I have 80 watts of flouros around them, not directly over though

Edit:However i have more knowledge on growing than some people who have grown for years... i just lack hands on experience

Hands on is second to none, or so I have learned. Lots of research helps too though. Remember to change your water out, and keep your root zone temp. nice and warm. Roots like warmth. If you have some spare change, get yourself a cheap < $10 air pump with an airstone, might help. Good luck.
