Can you See my Signature??

Just curious.. I have an animated GIF (they're allowed right?) along with som text in my signature. Was showing up fine until a day or 2 ago. Now instead of seeing the Image, I just see a link. If i click on the link, it takes me to the image, but its not showing up in the signature like it's supposed to.

I don't know if I'm just not seeing it, or if no one is. Just wondering if it's a problem on my end (internet settings?) or ICmag's end, or the website I'm hotlinking from's end? the picture is one of those 3d smiley's and they give you all the codes to hotlink, so I don't think that's the problem.

ok.. still not sure whats going on. I used the

tags.

here is a screenshot showing exactly what i typed into the "edit your signature" box

and below is the same code working perfectly fine in this post... but for some reason it won't work in my signature??? . Also used the

codes to insert that screenshot above, which also works as you can see, but still don't work in signature.

and now its the link instead of the pic (in signature). Also, I could see if it never worked to begin with, but it worked fine for like a week, then it all of sudden changed from a the pic to the link without any changes by me....

ok drop the . (dot) either side of the code and use lower case...should work...

omg.. I must be blind haha.

I figured it out.. the rules lower down on "edit signature" page say there is no IMG BB code allowed in signatures
and you can upload a picture, but not an animated GIF for signatures.

Just weird how it worked for a week then stopped. If it had not worked from the start I probably woulda just assumed that animated GIF's were not allowed, but since it worked fine, then stopped a week later, I thought it must've been some other reason.

Also, it says you CAN use the ICMAG smileys.. most of which are in fact animated gifs, so don't understand why they won't let me use an animated gif from another website or upload one? Oh well, guess I'll just have to use it as a still image
