Can you mix nutrients together with some water?

So, obviously you can't mix nutrients together before adding to water.

But what about adding the nutrients necessary for 50L to, say, a 1L bottle of water and then adding that 1L to 49L to make the total of 50L?

Yes, that's called making a stock solution( from what I'm told). Lot's of guys do it. I have done it with some of my outdoor grows.

But how much water do I need? Isn't it dependent on the amount of nutrients?

Yeah dependent on how much nutes, but also dependent on what you want your ppm's to be. Hit up Ichabod Crane, pretty sure he has it down to a science.
