Can you help design my growroom, using this equipment?

I have grown one (kind of) successful crop before, using a 400w HPS. I grew a few ounces then I had to move and sold my light. Now I have a rec from a doctor saying I can smoke it. Also, I can grow for myself and am registered to grow for another as well. I have a few plants going now under a 400 MH, and have some equipment ready to use once they get ready. I was hoping to break down my equipment, and legal plant limitations and get some opinions on how best to use what I have to achieve optimum yield/quality. I will be borrowing a digicam very soon to get some pics up aslo.

I'll start with my plant numbers; I am legally allowed to grow 12 "mature" plants that exceed 12 inches in height or width. I am also allowed 36 "immature" plants. Which are plants (anything with roots) that must not exceed 12". Whether in veg or in flower, any plant that exceeds 12" is considered "mature" and counts against my final numbers.

As for equipment I have; 1-400w MH w/vented hood, 2-1000w HPS w/vented hoods, 1-HydroHut Deluxe, 1-Truncheon pH meter, 1-6" Vortex Powerfan, 1-4" Vortex Powerfan, a couple small digital timers, and several assorted pots and buckets.

I also have an air conditioner (one portable, and one window, which should I use?) and a RO water filter. I have one of each of the following; Original Blueberry, Sour Diesel IBL, Afghani, and Shishkaberry. Each of those are between 6-10" and in FoxFarm Ocean Forest Soil. I would like to go organic soil, at least until I get used to the plants somewhat. And since I already have some PBP Bloom, and Liquid Karma.

So, given these details, could I please get some advice? Some posts explaining what you would do given these limitations and this equipment would be very much appreciated.

dude your fucking set man...i would set up a smaller cab and put the 400 in it for veg and runn the 2 1000 watters in the deluxe for flower

Thanks. That's what I was thinking. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to achieve the best yield with these plant numbers? Or how tall I should grow them in veg before cutting the light cycle? Any suggestions would be great.

That depends on you and what you want. You could grow 12 HUGE plants like a tree grow but thats probably not your goal. I would grow 36 plants to 12", clone the best plants and discard the rest or trim them and keep as moms. Then flower the best 12 and keep a cycle going.

That first part sounds interesting and yeah, I kind of figured I could do "whatever I want", but I was more curious to read what others would do if they had similar limitations and equipment. I've read a lot of the Grow Journals and I love them. So I just want to get some ideas from some growers with more experience than me, before I decide what I want to do. Thanks.

id use a portable air conditioner so you could hook your exhaust right into the a.c. exhaust line.Kill 2 birds with 1 stone!Every thing sounds great so far!I've grown shiskaberry and it is a great berry strain.You can harvest at like 6 weeks,but I let mine go 7.5 weeks,I recommend you do the same.Keep us posted.

Cool. I was planning to go 55-60 days with the Shishk, the Blueberry, and the Afghani, and about 75 days with the Sour Diesel. Those are the maturation times the guy I got the clones from recommended to me. My Shishkaberry and my Sour Diesel are both almost a foot tall, how much taller would you let them get before inducing flowering? The ceilings are 7' tall, so I could let them get pretty big. I've heard that the Sour D grows quite a bit taller after you cut the light cycle, so I am really wondering how tall I should let her get before switching to 12/12.
