3 guys walk into a hotel to get rooms for the night. The front desk clerk tells them only 1 room is available and its $30 a night. So the 3 decide to share the room and each pay $10. The next morning the manager comes on duty and see's that the men were overcharged and the room was only $25 for the night. So the manager gives the bell boy $5 to bring back to the 3 men. The boy decides that there is no way in hell that 3 men can split $5 evenly, so he pockets $2 and gives them each back $1. So lets do the math on this...
The 3 men each paid $10... so 3x10=30
They found out they were overcharged and were supposed to split $5, but the Bellhop kept $2, SO if the each recieved $1 back that means that they only paid $9 each for the room right? so 9x3=27
And the Bell boy kept $2 right??
So if they EACH paid $9 cause they got $1 (9x3=27) back and the bellhop kept $2 (27+2=29)
where did the extra $1 go?
