can this be too much blood meal granuals? burned!

here is a pic. i put only maybe 15 salt-sized blood meal granuals in the bottom of the plant during a transplant from a 3" container into a 4" container of organic compost and perlite. oxiginated water ph 7. 1000W HPS,

wait, they are in pure compost and perlite? and you added bone meal?

you need something other than compost and perlite in the soil mix.

That is going to be too hot anyways, adding in the blood meal only served to compound your problems

you need to "cut" compost with something like peat, and then for such small plants I wouldn't stress blood meal till next repot. Even then I would make teas rather than amend the soil, it's hard to screw up teas, but really easy to put too many/to much soil ammendments.
 
OK BUT DAMMIT i just repotted a few of them in compost/perlite. read about great results in a post on here about 4 months ago and for the first 3 months they Rock and Rolled!! i did NOT add any meal to them tho, so i did do sompthin right. thanks mex
