anyone using the can filter lites?? i am trying to take some stress off my tent to save piece of mind and noticed these online. It says they only weigh 50 lbs, i was wondering if they work as effective for smell with less carbon.
at 50lbs it doesn't sound very "lite" to me.
IMO if you want a good quality, super light filter, these guys are great, half the weight of the others.

Yes, yes, half the Carbon weight, you knew what I meant.
As far as rating a filter by how much carbon is in them, all carbon is not the same, mashing pounds and pounds of low grade pellets into a filter does not make it better IMO.
You know what I got for you wang?
First hand expierence, the phresh filters I have used that were half the size of can filters, lasted longer, and smelled better at the end of a year when I change them out, then the 60lb can filters I used to use before switching.
The guys looking for a light weight filter for his tent, phresh filters are just that, and from my expeirence using them, they have worked better then the larger filters I used to use.
Not sold on any marketing, just first hand expierence, you can't fake or hype that into something it isn't.
No way Jimbo, you must be lying and work for Phresh filters, because wangs opinion is the only one that can be right, lolim using the phresh 6"x24". Its pretty light and works great. No experience with cans, but the phresh is taking care of my 15 flowering plants perfectly.
Thanks for infering that I'm lying bro, appreciate it.OhHHhhhh so you fail to answer any of my points in my last post and all the sudden you have first hand experience with both can filters and phresh filters. I got it
See, at first I thought you were just copy pasting the marketing lines DIRECTLY from www.phreshfilters.com but now, since you've said that you've had first hand experience with both, I totally believe you NOT. Good job marketing for phresh, do you work for them or something, because you were almost convincing? No offense.
Hey OP, which tent are you using again? If you let us know which tent you are using we can better provide an answer of how much of a carbon filter(regardless of brand) that you really need to scrub that air. Most tents are pretty small so I can't imagine why you would need more than 25 pounds of active carbon. Then again, I've seen some pretty fucking monstrous tents.
Thanks for infering that I'm lying bro, appreciate it.
I was wondering if you were ever going to actually try to help the OP or not.
Have you ever used a phresh filter? Because if not, your the one talking out of your ass with no expierence.
For what the guy wants(a lightweight filter that is still effective) phresh filters are the perfect thing.
Stop trying to piss on other people who are only trying to help when you've offered none of your own till just now, and are simply assuming that since you've been around awhile that you know everything.
Thanks Jimbo for supporting me when I said that phresh filters are good quality and effective.
I don't see anyone saying anything different except wang who's never even used one so how the hell would he know?
Why the hate on phresh? Maybe your the rep from some BS can filter company with your own little agenda
Good job wang, is it also your duty to make 4 rambling posts like you invented carbon, and growing, and weed, etc... without making a single suggestion to the OP as to what he might try? Like I did in my very first post.
The first decent quality, light weight filter that I have PERSONALLY used came to mind, so it's what I recommended to him, and then the professor showed up.
Get over yourself
