Can I use this wire for my MLC 8?

I'm moving my MLC and I have about 20ft of wire that reads:
e39725 s aa-8000 al type se cable style r xhhw-2 600v 3 cdrs 4/0 awg i cdr 2/0 awg ul.
I think its sub panel wire, def more burly than the 6,8, 10 I have used in the past. I'm only running 6-600ws on the MLC so I know it's overkill but
Can I use this to wire in my MLC?

It won't work if it's 4/0, the diameter of the wire is almost 1/2", the lugs on the contactor are for 1/2", you will have to change the lugs to accommodate that thick of conductors. You can cut off some of the solid strands to make it fit, but I wouldn't do it. The MLC is small and the wire will have to be bent a little to fit. Why not just get a NEMA enclosure and some receptacles, timer, and a better contactor.
