Can I use this kit with this old Sun System 150 HPS light?

I picked up an old 150W HPS from Craigslist. It doesn't light up as bright as the one I bought new in 2021. At first I suspected it was an old bulb so I replaced it with a new one but it still burned dim. Here are the pics of what's inside,

I didn't mess with the ignitor because I don't know if it also acts as a capacitor and I did not want to electrocute myself. I know nothing about electronics or electricity. So, I can't read what it's ratings are. What I can make out is,

IGNIT...
HJH...
For 35-15..
HPS HID...
Ballast...
2ft.Max...
to Ballast...
90 °C Max.Ca...

Here is the kit I would like to replace it with, if possible, but both the ballast and ignitor look quite a bit different from the original ones

EDIT: I did some reading and apparently the bulb won't even strike if the ignitor is bad.

Why are you buying mag ballasts ?
Buy digital and problem solved
Could be the winding is old or rusted and it's not giving it max voltage

It was free. They're also cheap to fix from all I've read.

Where can I buy a reliable digital 150w HPS ballast?

I stopped growing with LED because all of the heating, ventilation, and humidity issues I've had running them. I can't seem to reach or maintain proper VPD so my plants always suck. But that is a discussion for another thread.

Yeah, I'm gonna stick with the magnetic ballasts for now.

The choke does look a bit torched. I would look at all the connections though, especially in the lamp holder. After which.. well they are so cheap, that buying parts isn't worth it
