Can I use bottled Spring water with CO2 bubbles for plant watering?

Your plants will be ok I think. Read the label and make sure what's in there.
If in doubt pour the water into a container and let it air out by the plants.
This way they get the carbon dioxide as well.

BTW: Did you run out of tap water?

Bottled water will get expensive in the long run.

my tap is bad and @1600 ppm thats why I am using bottled water.

I will try boil it to remove that CO2 faster the bottle was open for two days but there are still bubbles in it :(

Sorry about your water situation. :comfort:

Don't bother boiling it that will waste too much energy.

Just let it sit around and it will leave eventually.

What brand name of bottled water is it?

My first ever grow, I had one female plant from seed that I grew in soil and watered with Seltzer water. I could buy the generic 2L bottles 2 for a dollar.

Plant seemed to like it.

This is exactly what I was thinking!

Carbon Dioxide, in a still environment, will stratisfy toward the floor.
I would think that watering with CO2 would not be a good idea. Especially considering that roots prefer an oxygen rich environment while pathogens prefer an oxygen weak environment.

Just this guy, ya know?
I couldn't find anything relating to marijuana, but there was 1 experiment some college kids did using Carbonated water and a plant called "baby's tears" and found the carbonated water added a bunch of micronutrients and caused them to grow better. All I can seem to find is the abstract they listed on their personal page though.

You'll need to remove the S from the https. Stupid incorrectly setup TLS. You'd think a college could handle setting up a webhost correctly.

Those that can, do. Those that can't, teach.

I think the URL issue is local to ICmag.
It's been an issue for quite some time now.

I used gals of distilled water from wmart for yrs..23cents a gal I think it costed in early 2000s late 90s. I never had any problems but those gals of water started to get expensive. I found that RO water machine in front of wmart and started using the RO water outta there machine. I had excellent results with RO water also. Once I stopped using tap water/well water it's like all my problems vanished and great results/yields of many grows have been laided down. These guys I know where I live always acted like water is water.....this is so far from the truth it bothers me people don't understand.

I know alot say don't use distilled water but I did for a period of time and didn't really recall much if any difference....it's been awhile though. But I definitely had success with wmart RO machine in front of store. If you can't afford a RO system this is another way. Yes I know you need a RO system at home but if you can't just maybe try those RO machine in store front. Hell I used to buy 20-30 gal twice a week, get a few ,5gal-10 jugs. It's kinda a pain but what I always did when I lived in the city. I'm in the mtns now and have water running outta the holler that's so clean. I haven't checked this water running outta the mtns but I may try using it indoors. I've got horrible well water that is undrinkable, almost afraid to shower in it really. I've not really used alot of mt/spring water outta the mt but gonna check it out. Or I'm gonna buy RO from store weekly for my indoor grow.
