Removing plant parts stresses the plants. USUALLY it's OK.

If you're unsure maybe only do it on 1/2 the plants. Then wait & watch a week. If something goes bad it only affects 1/2 your plants.

Also one of the reasons trimming growing tips works on some plants is, the lower bud sites get shaded.

You can get around that by setting up a few lights to shine light on the bottom 1/2 of the plant.

Can you bend and tie them down instead? Will be less stress and give you a very full canopy. Good luck

Bend them over by pinching the stems until they crunch so to speak, this will keep the tops, just make them look a little interesting.

i think 'crunched' it will be... i have done that in the past , and it worked out ok - i worry that if i trim, i'll fuk up the plants trimmed , and since i have 7 diff plants i don't wanta lose any - as i'm looking for that 'elite' lady... in 20yrs of growing, we have only had one plant that i would consider elite.... and we didn't take a cutting of it.... can u say...stupid... thanks guys

Yep, tying and bending is the way to go. I've tried topping in the first week of flowering and I lost quite a bit of yield.
