Can i take indoor plant to outdoor legally?

So i just got my license. Im allowed 15 plants. Was thinking about growing all 15 now, and flower out 10 of them, and keep the other 5 to go outside in the summer time.

Can i transfer a 7 month old plant from my indoor location(legal spot to grow) and lets say i buy some land an hour away. Can i put that plant in my truck, cover it up, and if i do get pulled over will that be allowed? I would have to switch my plant ratio, at the moment its 15 plants indoors. So they say just contact them and they will send a new card with accurate plant location.

I HOPE SO!!!!!!

Put them in a greenhouse with a foundation and automated black out system, and it will still be considered indoor by their guidelines for some wierd reason.

Sorry what im asking is;

I am a legal grower for indoor. And i plan on applying for a permit to grow outside, and not in my backayrd, so i plan on moving it to a private property. Can i take 5 plants from inside my house, put them on my truck, cover it up so i dont get pulled over right away.... Is it legal for me to transport the plants?

hahahaha yeah, thats what you have a license for isnt it. To be allowed to possess cannabis plants. You can put them out no prob and count it for outdoors, but my point i am making is you could do it in a greenhouse outside, grow them big, and still have the higher indoor plant count to grow by, instead of 1/3rd of the plants like you would on outdoor count. you dig?

AHHH ok.

My point right now is, if i have my 15 plants i can grow. flower out 10, keep vegging 5 of them till the spring time. Ill make sure i have a license to have them at an outdoor property. I just wanna know if im allowed to transport giagantic plants.

I dont wanna do anything illegal. I wanna make sure i keep this license till the day i die.

Not really.... I would imagine a cop would pass along your file to a crown attorney and recommend charges if you were bringing plants from your registered site to a different locale. By corolary, bringing plants to your registered site from a non-reg'd site might also get you into trouble.... I would think it would depend on the cop and how horny he was to harrass a grower, even a legal one.... remember these guys for the most part don't approve of cannabis as medicine (and believe they should have an opinion on a topic that really has nothing to do with them, given you abide by the regs.

Your plants technically need to be at your grow location as designated on your license (ie at your registered location with HC). Your reg'd grow on file with HC is the only place you are allowed to have plants.

That being said, if you had a big enough trailer, there's no reason anyone should ever know....

Hash that's some interesting info... where did you come across it? Gotta link?
TIA

SHIT NO
if you are licensed for indoor and outdoor then sure ok, as long nothing is growing indoor

but if you are only licensed for indoor and try to run outdoor and popo comes by then your in hot water

I know a buddy that was licensed for indoor and outdoor and the police cut down all his indoor when they came by during this past summer cuz he was only allowed one not both.

Oh man....

Ok so if i have 15 plants in doors now, i get a licesnse to have both an outdoor and indoor location, my outdoor location will be about 1 hours drive, is transporting the plants allowed? If i have both sites permitted to grow.

I just doint know if im allows to transport these plants.

Lets say i do have a license to grow both indoor and outdoor, is transporting from indoor to my hour drive outdoor legal?

To legally grow at 2 different locations would mean you'd have to have 2 licenses. If that were the case, you'd be allowed to travel with plants.... otherwise you could only have 1 location, where you could grow either indoors or outdoors at one time, but not both indoors and outdoors at the same time. At least that is my understanding.....

Your card says what is legal

Your card says what is legal

Nightcrawler,

If you are contemplating unlicensed activity, why bother setting a red flag in front of you for LEO to pick you out of a crowd?

On your application P.U.P.L. you chose to grow indoors entirely, that's it. If you want to grow outdoors then go through the entire application process again and take it from there.

Otherwise, take your chances, and lumps if they show up.

You can't expect to have it both ways without consequences.

HOLLLY SHIT PPL

I am asking a question and keeping everything legit.

I was asking if i had both an indoor and outdoor license, and i wanted to bring my indoor plants outside.

GOD DAMN IT PPL!

Unless your saying i can only have plants indoors, as of now my license says i can grow 15 indoor. but what if next year, when i reapply i ask them to split that amount with 5 ooutdoor and 10 indoor.

Haha have any of you guys even read over the forms? Try a google search.

You can "legally" grow both indoors and outdoors, just not at the same time.

The Health Canada forms give you the option to grow indoors in the winter and outdoors in the summer.

This clears everything up!

OK.

So, if i say i grow inside during the winter, but lets say i have 5 plants i dont flower out, and i wanna bring those 5 plants to my outside location which i will most liekly be about an hours drive. Can i take those 5 plants, (leaving me with no other plants inside) and bring them to the new location?

Ugh, I shouldn't even be answering you .. you should read the forms yourself.

No, you cannot have two grow locations on one licence.

Like HA said earlier don't tell them you are growing outside they will give you lower plant numbers, I believe that if you have some sort of permanent structure with walls and a foundation (greenhouse, blackout boxes) you can use the sun without having your plant number restricted.

Now it's my turn to ask a stupid question. What do you guys with your DPL's tell the police when you were getting your criminal record check? You have to state the reason you need the check.. the options are immigration, employment, volunteering and a few others. I was going to check employment but they ask for the position and employer. Should I just be honest?

Pharmacuetical Consultant maybe??? It would be an honest answer lol. And like you are saying, i think the greenhouse thing is interpretation of how the legislation is written concerning these things. Bear in mind your plant count is written as plants in 'production', bit of a grey area here no. What constitutes plants in 'production' is my stupid question for the day.
