If you have Powder Mildew, check out Jorge Cerventes video. Its 6-8 oz of 3% hydrogen peroxide to 5 gallons of water. Literally give it a bath, than spray with water

If you want to smoke greencure go for it, but don't give it to others that's disgusting. Cut the mold out is the best bet.

Far better to take the buds and gently dip in a bath with 10% household bleach, the mold will instantly turn to UGH!

then gently dip in cold water

allow to dry

then snip of that UGH!

you don't toke greencure as its got potassium bicarb included with many other nasty chems

good luck

Actinovate would stop the botrytis cold and you can spray up till harvest. But you prolly don't have any:biggrin:

I've used Actinovate to drench a plant that was covered in PM on harvest day.
Sprayed until the buds were dripping wet then let it sit over night.
Harvested the next morning before sun up & washed the buds in the shower and commenced trimming.
Those buds smoked better than a lot of the others that never showed signs of PM infection.
Actinovate works!

Jeorge Cervantes swears by his method as well.

Fuck bleach! That shit's pure poison!

The EPA recognizes the benefits of the active ingredients in GreenCure®. The EPA notes, “Potassium bicarbonate and sodium bicarbonate are naturally occurring compounds that are not expected to have adverse effects on humans or the environment when used as fungicides

Sodium bicarbonate (IUPAC name: sodium hydrogen carbonate) is a chemical compound with the formula NaHCO3. It is a salt composed of sodium ions and bicarbonate ions. Sodium bicarbonate is a white solid that is crystalline but often appears as a fine powder. It has a slightly salty, alkaline taste resembling that of washing soda (sodium carbonate). The natural mineral form is nahcolite. It is a component of the mineral natron and is found dissolved in many mineral springs. It is among the food additives encoded by the European Union, identified as E 500. Since it has long been known and is widely used, the salt has many related names such as baking soda, bread soda, cooking soda, and bicarbonate of soda

Potassium bicarbonate (also known as potassium hydrogen carbonate or potassium acid carbonate) is a colorless, odorless, slightly basic, salty substance. According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), potassium bicarbonate is "generally recognized as safe".[2] There is no evidence of human carcinogenicity, no adverse effects of overexposure, and an undetermined LD50. It is among the food additives encoded by European Union

Never used it but about 60 seconds of google search.

Peace GG

when food goes off in my refrigerator i prefer to throw it out rather than get sick. Why people want to pursue alchemy by trying to do something impossible like get rid of mould from buds i have no idea... i'd rather not smoke anything than smoke mouldy buds ... each to their own i guess but i say just cut your loss and move on. and like others have said, don't you dare give any away!

weeks ago my plants in my greenhouse got a black stem mold , starting at the lowest nodes. It cost me 3, 5 foot tall bushes that I chopped in haste..... then I discovered serenade(natria) and that stopped the molds progressing on the other plants it was affecting. That was about week 2 or 3 flowering. After 2 applications of the serenade, I have used nothing but baking soda and water as a spot treatment spray of affected nodes. It has kept the molds at bay for the past 6 weeks and I'm now at the start of a mold free harvest. Haven't had to do any spot treatments in a couple weeks now.
I know the OP's scenario is different as he's at harvest already but just posting my experience to say that the baking soda and water, tho I don't know if it's ideal, it has saved my garden that's for damn sure.

Curious what you'd be attempting to achieve by spraying greencure right before harvest?

If it's just to prevent further infection, I've never observed it spread once the plant is harvested. Just cut out the moldy buds and set them aside. The rest of the plant will be fine. The strain of mold that grows on living plants is different from the kind that grows on dead plants. Just keep your humidity in check where you are drying them.

I've only used greencure a couple times, but it turned my pistils brown, lowered the bag appeal, and I could swear I tasted it in the smoke. I wouldn't use it again.

If mold is in there, it's there, would it not be safer to make into water wash and ditch the plant material?

Potassium Bicarbonate and sodium bicarbonate will fuck up the burn. Think dry fire extinguishers
