Hello is it possible to take seedling/cutting when its root bound from baby dome and can i plant it into a 15 gallon? i dont want to plant it into 2 gallon then 5 gallon. Straight to 15 gallon ? would that be cutting corners or it wouldn't matter as long as i vege long enough ? I want to make mother plants

thanks so much for replies/

You can, but you'll have to be super careful about watering. It would be better to go in steps. Good luck. -granger

Auto or standard plant ? as some autos do not like stepping up in pot size & do better straight into 10lt .

No problems with doing this except most people over water when the pot is oversized. I can count the people on one hand that have NOT over watered in this situation. Me being one of them. :)

Biobizz all mix 15 gallon mother plants

I definitely wouldn't use 15 gal pots for mother plants. That seems like a huge waste of space. Mothers will never flower. Really no need for a huge root mass.

With root trimming and pruning, mothers can be kept for years in a couple gallons.

Daroo,
My mothers stay in 18 oz beer cups until I feel forced to put them in 6" pots. After that, I take cuts and start new mothers to keep in beer cups as long as possible. The most I ever need of any 1 strain is 6-8 cuts. Good luck. -granger

P.S.-Best wishes on political troubles in Ukraine.
