I have a critical jack herer cutting that the roots are finally coming threw the peat pellet

Im getting ready to put her in a 1L air pot and was wondering if rooted cuttings could get nutes or not since their not like seedlings ( Or are they ? )

Thanks in advance fellas

I can only tell you what I personally do.

When I drop my rooted cutting in a pot, I only use plain water to water it in.

At the 2nd watering, 1/2 strength nutes.

Like I said, thats just how I do it. Ive seen plenty of people who nute when they root.

Brings my own question to mind.
Do you have to nute right away if using coco, clay, aero etc?

Thanks w.g

My medium is soil less , its 3B mix with some coco mixed in

I just notice that the tip of one of the leaves has a very slight yellow look to it so i did not know if i could give it nutes or not

Ya she looks ready for some eats. Either that or shes a bit over watered.

I stopped using peat pucks because its way too easy to keep them too wet.

You may want to carefully make some slices in the mesh that holds the plug together. Its not an absolute, but Ive found youll get more roots quicker if you do.

Id head over to check out some coco grows for a more definitive answer.
