can i foliar feed while using Avid and Forbid?

Hey all,

Just a quick question here- was wondering if there is anyone who uses avid and/or forbid and ALSO Foliar feeds (not mixed together, sprayed separately a few days apart). I recently started using Avid and Forbid due to a serious mite problem, and have suspended my foliar feeding regimen for fear of possible negative interactions. Would like to start doing foliar again, but would like to hear from some people who have done it first.

Why are you foliar feeding? Have you tried without it at all? Would reduce your pest problems and potential mold issues.

well firstly, I'm an outdoor grower.

I foliar feed because I have found (via multiple rounds of side-by-side testing) that it increases growth rates substantially. Also, so long as foliar feeding happens in combination with a good foliar compost tea, it actually deters pests and powdery mildew. People up here (northern cali) have been known to suppress spider mites and powdery mildew with compost teas- the theory is that the beneficial microbes and fungi present in the tea out compete the powdery mildew and mess up the bugs. We don't spray during the latter half of flower, as it can cause mold.

I'd be more concerned with the taste / residue that it would leave on your leaves. I know you said you don't do it the 2nd half of flower, but once sprayed, it's not going away, right?

I wish people would answer the GOD DAMN QUESTION. Dont fuckin ask questions to peoples questions. He didnt ask for your advice about foliar feeding.

I also have this question. I have rooting clones which i OBVIOUSLY FOLIAR FEEEEEEEED................................so now, can i still foliar feed after dunking my clones in spinosad and avid? Or does i wash it away?
