can i foliar feed when i fear over fert in soil?

the deal is that they seem to have loock out due to over feeding. flashed once and it stoped but i will not feed thrue watering next time i water so maybe i can feed thru the leaves?
and btw the bit smaller plant is now showing same simptomes from wich the old one grew so maybe it is genetics?
i am posting few pics from today:
cheers,
m.

this one is better , new grow ok... is it?

the only thing i would foliar feed with is dilute marine algae when you suspect over fert, which is what it looks like you've got there.. other than that i would water your soil with ph 6.0- 6.3 water, it looks like the new growth is relatively unaffected, possibly as the plant gains size it will use up more ferts and show less signs of burning, growth may be stunted a bit though

thats one magic wand of a penis u got there. one flash and it was satisfied- wish my girls were like that. serious bit now. dont feed an over fed plant by any method. cut way down on nutes and just flush every third feed. ie feed, feed, flush. make sure ph is ok. by the way what nutes are u using and in what amounts?

personally..i dont spray anything on my plants anymore. It always causes problems. maybe some sea kelp here and again but not so often anymore. I try to concentrate on what i dont see..feeding the roots. But if all is perfect then i could see the benfeits of foliar feed..im wondering about ultrasonic cool mist with a hint of ferts to battle this dry winter.

it does look like a nute burn...

it does look like a nute burn...

it is my first girl so i was over feeding from the very start.
hogweed- i watered today with tap water after flushing. i am afraid that it is over fed in the soil, my soil ph is 7.0 is that too high?
my hash majanja- you wish not... :badday: they are not doing so well...
i have burned it or something...
rubey eyed - i am not feeding them no more. not now. i have a trauma.
any how i fed them with shultz 10-15-10 but last time i switched to maxicrop bio (7-3-9)
any thoughts?
i will post new pics today , if you don't mind, take a look pls.

ok

it's thanksgiving night - after the big meal - your sitting back, over fed.... and some goof ball brings you more and wants to smear it over your skin - - - HAD ENOUGH YET???

Get the idea?

Overfed is not the time to feed some more.

If you keep fuckin with your plant - you will hurt it worse.

Give her time to chow down on what you've already put in.

and go take a chill pill,,, takes time and sometimes nothing you do will speed it up, but you can sure muck up a good grow with too much shit.

Gennerally speaking - less is better ESPECIALLY when it's the plant telling ya!

thanks cap!

thanks cap!

:yeahthats
you made me lough a lot! i am a newbee... : )
anyhow, i did get the point now i think... the metaphore was great...
: )
any how, few more pics of my 4 babys today. the biggest one is ok, the medium is starting to show signs of burn even i had not fed them the past 5 days and the smalest one , well he is ok i hope..
take a look and tell me what you think.
ps. water is tap water, the soil is about 7.0 ph.
thanks!
m.
new grow on the biggest one.

the small kid

the new , totaly burned tips of the medium one.

the best one , though not the biggest:

Try for 6.2 plus or minus a little.

What are you using to check pH?

They really look well - and should do better if ya just let em cruise for a while.

There is a chi to this - listen to the plant and they will show you the road to nuggs.

Can I poke fun one mo time? - is that log in there to hold up the plant? Holy intersteller plasma Mr Spock - you could pier a house with wood that size! Sell it to the indians to make a canoe out of,,, - ok I'm done.

opps Hey - you growing pot or phone poles?
Looks like a phone pole in the garden

ok,,,

k,, I think I'm done. (yeah right)

So,,,

New light or what?

hay dude!
even though i am in my exam period in the uni (and i am hoping for c's) and i am burning my plants and generaly doing every posible misstake - you make me lough!
any how,
until the end of the week they are under i 48W cfl but it will be upgraded to 3 of theese at week end.
about the pole, i wish... :)
it is the plants thet are small....
as some of my friends told me bout her ex , : " it was not that he had small pin^% , it's just that he had such HUGE balls..."
or as we say , everything is relative... e=mc2
i guess i will leave them.
when you say that i should aim for 6.2 , how?
i have no "ph sown" stuff here. any home made idias?
go on with the jokes! i am totaly ok with it: )
cheers,
m.

captain kirk has it covered man, just let her grow for a while and she will use up some of the extra ferts. If you dont have a ph meter and you dont have ph down, you might try adding some lemon juice or other form of citric acid to the water, dont add too much though, just about id say like 1/2 tbsp / gallon if your tap is around 7.0-7.2, if you dont have to dont f with the PH or you will wish you didnt. Everything looks good man... do you have any picture updates? :canabis:

first off - c's at the uni, ???

Less of this and MORE of that. IMO - you do what ya gotta, but,,, C's???? - it better be a hella class!

Matter of fact,, now that I think about it,, I'm thinking your plants might do better too! BONUS!!!! - don't look good for spring break, but after finals - - yeah boy!!!

pH isn't something ya want to guess on. And it's one place that can make or break you. ummmmm that school have a chemestry dept? You need a friend in the chemestry dept.

What you need to know is,, what is tap water PH? - also available from local water supply (Usually city and/or county) (also -this inf will be a range and not as accurate as a direct reading - so far less preferable) - gardeners and health consious ask all the time - it's not a trigger that can spot growers - anyway, pH of tap water and how much of what will get it to slightly acidic level of 6.0-6.2 - again - also depending on soil pH. (pH down from agri/hydro or aquarium store) - Then check pH of all nutrient solutions and again - what to do to keep at that lower pH.

I use 1/4 teaspoon pH down per gallon, OR 1 teaspoon of Tiger Bloom from FoxFarms - because of the chemestry of your water and soil, your needs may be different.

Go study, and water the plants when they need it. And hang out around the chemestry dept if ya get a chance

Then check pH of all nutrient solutions and again - what to do to keep at that lower pH

the go do a search on your fert regiment and find some growers using it - they will give ya the skinny puppy

And lemon juice and vinegar are not very good pH adjusters - if you mix some; and check pH over several hours - it will vary a bunch - a big f**kin bunch.

while ur at the store getting ur ph down get a cheap ph tester. u can get small bottle that will last for ages and aim for the solution to turn piss yellow and ur ph will be spot on. also any nutes that u use divide what is says on the label by half (they want to sell u twice as much and dont mind fucking up ur plants to achieve this). also in a few months when u start flowering them count the days from when the flowers appears (two weeks)(ish) and not just when u flip ur lights to 12/12.
