I have some Girl Scout Cookies at week 8, I want to make room.. And I wanted to try something sun ripened. Its been under a 315 ceramic Metal Halide all this time. A few of them in one gallon pots from a SOG.

I didn't get my scope to look at trics, but I think they could go another 2 weeks outside.... Mebby tomorrow I'll look at them.

Here's the catch:..

It is NOT 12/12, sunlight is roughly 18hours. And no I dont want to cover them for the photoperiod.

I think average outdoor temps are in spec. And its in the greenhouse.

80 in the days, and 60's in the nights.

Whatcha think?.

I would just leave them inside personally, however I don't really have any experience in this sorta thing. If the change in the intensity of light doesn't fuck with them (the summer sun is much much stronger then any artifical light) going from 12/12 to 18/6 definitely would

Why would it fuck with them?. I've tried to reverse flowering back to veg halfway through flower, going to 24/0 and it doesn't seem to stop them.. I'm well beyond the halfway point.. Given that i'm like 14 days away from proper ripening. Why not?.

Well I'm about to get a little experience trying :) They spent the first night outside in the unheated greenhouse, I gotta see how they are.

It's worth a try if pollen doesn't bother you. 2 weeks might be long enough to throw sacs.

last year I took plants at 4 weeks 12/12 and moved them outside where they went into shade after 12 hours.
several reverted but a GG#4 kept going and was decent.

Nah, pollen doesn't bother me.. But yeah I'll look for sacs.

The thing is that I'm at 8 weeks. I have tried to get a plant to flip back to veg but that was at 4 weeks indoor, using indoor lights. I wouldn't even consider throwing something outside at 4. That is something I havent done yet.

Shes already showing color change, purples in the leaves and shes on her final swell. pistils are changing colors and thats before I tossed them out into the greenhouse.

I'll go visit the girls tomorrow, see how she reacted to 2 days of 60 degree nights. :)

Seems to be working, the pistils are turning red, and the purple in the leaves on the GSC have developed much stronger than in the tent. The cool outside temps of mid to low 60's I think is helping.

So I went ahead and threw the locktite's I had outside too :) This is huge for me, I have room for some more stuff!. :)
