Few Months ago I read that the Chinese would use Cannabis roots to treat gout. I also heard this on a podcast with a Dr. That uses roots.

I couldn't find any information on using the roots so I posted on icmag asking how to prepare roots to treat gout.

I was told that the roots contain a substance that is bad for your liver to process.
They said to extract the cannabinoids and add to lotion or balm.

Did find info on Chinese grinding roots and adding to a poulstice then applying to skin problems.

I've also heard of making a root tea that you feed to your plants. It is actually the root exudates that are good for other plants soil
If you learn anything new please post updates.

okey weak values is no issues.

CannaRed says that this is not good for liver ?

We must have more info.

Anyway they dont test Cannabis too much. Big medicine companys stop this alot.
They want us eat chemicals only.

There is no one who test the roots i can think now when i am thinking clear about this.

Old roots cant be a nutient before you add special things that makes old roots burn in new soil ?

Most of the roots does not even stay pure white in plastic soil pots.
I have seen too many people have problem with the root system.

You can avoid this if you use air or dirt pots

Hydro roots is poor thin fake roots. Superb-unNatural fake.

Hydro people dont shoot me now. I understund you do it for big harvest, and the need to be able toilette spool the medium after all.
No need bring big soil sacks and things.
Anyway this is not real medicine if you ask me.

There is on the meny in coffee shops also
BIO GROWN or HYDRO GROWN

The big yelders is most of time bio grown, only the smal yelders they do hydro in coffeeshops today.

Bio is the best always

We need more soil grows i know this

Not all hydroponics can be generalized as you say. Just because you have had improperly grown and handled hydroponic cannabis does not mean some of us can't grown top shelf cannabis hydroponically.

Gout is a fucked up disease. I'm having a horrible attack on my knee right now. Its beyond excruciating. I doubt that would work for a severe attack, maybe for a minor one though. I'm really trying to hold off taking opiates for now.

Chinese and "modern" medicines are worlds apart! Chinese medicine treats the "root" cause whilst "western/modern medicine" treat the symptom.

Most "chinese compounds" are based with more than one ingredient and ratios totally adhered to. Modern medicine is a chemically induced coma of indifference!

I agree. Nothing wrong with well grown hydro. Cannabis can be grown just as badly in soil. Here's some [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"Superb-unNatural fake" hydro I grew.

Sorry to hear. I don't suffer from it but a couple of friends do. They say the foods you eat are key. Things like raw tomato or anything acidic are a no no apparently.

Completely depends on what is in your soil. If there's anything bad in there, cannabis will probably pull it out. This property makes it useful in phytoremediation.

If you're at all unsure of the soil, you're probably better off using hydro roots. Roots grown in a known environment free of metals and excess elements or toxins will be the cleanest.

There's an interesting "Shaping Fire" podcast on this subject.
"Cannabis Root Ball Medicine with guest Natasha Ryz, PhD"

The most useful properties known so far seems to be as a topical. The anti-inflammation and anti-pain properties are very powerful, without triggering drug test failures. There's a little information on other uses, including a little about possible edible uses.

Again, you'll want clean cannabis roots for this.

I figure less than 1% of the cannabis on the planet is grown properly these days. Hydro or organic, it doesn't matter. I'm personally looking forward to the day I have organic which matches my best quality hydro. I know it exists, it's just so rare I haven't come across it yet.

Life is an experience. :)
