Can i burn my seedling in the soil that i'll use for entire life span of the plants?

Hi

I plan doing my 2nd growth, first one was 2 years ago and was a success.
I grew a Withe Rhino and an AMS plant from Greenhouse co.

Back then i had two Power Kush seeds too that germinated right, planted them in the same soil as the greenhouse seed but the Kush plants stopped growing after the 2 true leafs and they had a strange look, very wrinkled and under developed.

Someone have told me today that the culprit could have been the soil that was too fertilized for the new seedlings as i have put the germinated seeds in the soil(universal plant soil enriched with nutrients) that i bought for growing my plants from seedling to adult stage and he said that this is not a good idea.

It make sense now for me but i wonder why i had problems with the Kush plants and why the White Rhino and AMS growth fantastically.

I have now some LSD seeds from Barneys and i dont want to make a mistake to destroy them from the beginning so can anyone give me an advice? Do you use soil thats intended for just for seedlings in the beginning?

I have attached two pictures, the plant in the left ins the Kush at 7 days and in the right is the White Rhino at 14 days. Kush has stopped growing and even after 14 days it was small and badly wrinkled.

Your picture looks fine, but yes it is possible to burn seedlings. I don't think it was you soil that caused wrinkled leafs. Most likely it was a genetic abormality. Your soil looks fine, however I would be interested in knowing more about your soil.

I

im me

seedlings can be real sensitive. yeah you can burn em i don't give any nutrients till they have a couple internodes. but yours look ok

..... and the sensitivity can be within the same strain as well.

I had 4ea AK47s, 2 of them were Way lighter feeders than the other two. Didn't burn, but I flushed with clear water to help them out. More food requires more water, even when older.

The dirt I was in was Vermifire. Not cheap by any stretch. It was 'amended' according to the Grow Store. They swore by it,,, I just swore at it. :)

Grew nice plants though.

Those pics were from my frist grow, i didnt gave them nuts until almost the end of the veg stage, they didnt needed.

I started to give them nutrients just when they were root bound but as i said the soils was enriched with nuts from the manufacturer.

@Easy7 I'll post a picture later with the properties of the soil that i used at my first grow and plan to use at my second grow too.

Meantime i'll post 2 pics with my first grow, the WR and AMS plants when they where adults.

First pic, left AMS at 4 weeks of flower and White Rhino at 6 weeks of flower. 2nd pic is the AMS at 6 weeks and third pic is the White Rhino at 8 weeks.

Yes, the first year I grew I fried some seedlings by starting them in FFOF because I didn't know it was too hot until I talked to the nursery. I grabbed a bag of unammended potting soil and mixed it in half and half. Things were fine. When the seedlings grew larger I could use the straight FFOF. Some varieties like lighter feedings. A generalization here but Sativa likes light and Indica likes heavier feedings. I have been using Vital Earth Organic Potting Soil and I start seedlings and clones in it with no problems.
