Can anyone help me out?

I'm moving into my new place in 3 weeks and I want to get the grow going pretty quick in the spare bedroom. (locked room)

I'm thinking of doing a Flouro veg cab in the closet and then 2/600 watts on a flip flop in the room itself.

The things I'm having trouble with is noise and smell. Should I build a room inside of the room and insulate it? I dont want to lug to much lumber up to the condo because suspecious neighbors. And incase of tear down.

Should I run 2 -4x4 grow tents with a 600 in each?

How can I run odor control with 2 cabs? Will I have to have 2 filters?

I'm going to exhaust up into the roof (topfloor condo) and I'm going to leave a window open to suck fresh air in. I cant run A/C because im limited to electricity on the bedroom circuit!

Thanks in advance!
If anyone has any completely different ideas let me know but I cant really run more then 1200 watts on the circuit without blowing a breaker I assume.

ozone generator

not cheap, but you dont have much choice in close quarters

you are gonna have to deal with heat too
might think about starting smaller(one 600 and proper environment) and making sure you have it dialed. Maybe its not hotter than fuck where you live like it is here, lol.
my 2 cents

Isnt there rumors that Ozone Generators make you sick or something?

Yeah im starting to re-think this and thinking about going 1/1000 or 1/600 and dial it right in, although I have growing experience its a new enviroment so.

blowing all that hot air up into the roof, its gotta go somewhere, and that is gonna create a huge heat signture [which i doubt you want to be stressing about]

your best bet is to use 1-600 on a light mover + A/C

use cfls or tubes for veg

yes you can clear air from 2 places with one filter. use two ductings pulling air out of the tents going to a Y connecter then filter then more ducting then fan

however, i say your best bet is use one 600 on a light mover in a bigger tent

on a 15amp room, 1200w is pushing it, plus you will need fan among other things

light movers are very efficient, it will disperse light in many directions and cover each plant it will make better buds than 2-600 rooms without movers

good luck be safe, and ask all your questions here before rushing into
anything

Heat Signature isnt something I am going to worry about, Its a 100+ unit complex and I'm in an area where one would not get in much trouble for growing.

One 600W would be on at Night and One would be on during the day (seperate cabs). So the power would stay a 600W level 24hrs a day.

How noisy are light movers? are they pretty quiet?

If it were me, I would just run 3 400w CMH with some co2, then you won't have to exhaust or run air through a window. CMH don't produce as much heat and have a better spectrum than HPS.

If there really was any heat, it would surely benefit with the use of Co2. Smell wouldn't be too much of an issue either since the room is enclosed. But to make it safer, I'd just throw a fan and a filter in there to just scrub the air.

My :2cents:

Good Luck!

Before you start, what is the size of the breaker on the circuit your using? Dont go overloading the circuit.

Once you've established you can SAFELY run 1200 watts plus all your other equipment, I would just stick to the one room personally. It'll be easier to construct and rip down, you only have to ventilate and scrub the one area and will be easier to maintain. You can always stagger your harvests in the room, adding ready to flower plants every few weeks depending on your strain choice.

If you aint too keen on building a stud room, why not buy a ready to go grow tent, or construct your own. Keeping noise down will depend on materials used in both construction of the room and growroom equipment. Insulating walls, insulated ducting, acoustic fans and type of system used will all contribute to overall noise levels.

As long as your exhausting enough heat out and bringing in enough cool air, temps should be just fine. But theres no point in fully exhausting all that heat if the air your bringing in 85 degrees.

What do you guys think about making a 6x6 grow cab with 1000 watt hps. Air cooled hood up into the attic. Sealed Cab with co2? Will it stay cool enough? Does anyone know any good reads about co2? I dont know much about it, but then I dont have to mess with a carbon scrubber?

1kw will not cover 6x6

also, being in a 100 unit complex means your heat sig is going stand out all the more

If you run 2x 600w at the same time, you are pushing the limits of a 15A circuit, especially with fans/pumps/etc. on the same circuit. Even with 1x 1Kw, you still don't have much room for anything else.

Do you have a dryer circuit?

If so, you can snake cable to your growroom, and run your lights on that. I've done apartment grows before, but I always had to reroute some circuits into my grow rooms. It's really easy, just go to the library and get several books on DIY electrical work.

Alright guys thanks for the input.

I've FINALLY ended all my stress and deciding and I just ordered a Digital 600W and Aircooled hood. I'm going to do a few grows with this and in the next few months im going to purchase an atmospheric controller and dial the fucker right in on a light mover and co2.

I have a 400W hps sitting around so if my yields arent to big I will throw the 400 in my closet and get an extra few ounces.
