hi there.

Well i got a strawberry bonsai MUM...she´s about 3 months old...and she´s in a 8 liter pot.I´m currently giving 3.5ml bio grow and 3.5ml alga mix,in a 1.5 liter bottle.
But her leaves are telling me something else that im not sure of...
Here are some not very good pics, but i hope they can help, they are some small roots coming out from the top,i guess it´s rootbound...no?

Your burning them, I can tell you right now you are burning the hell out of your plants, normally you would want to use that with around a little more than 1/2 gallon of water with the amounts your using,so I would flush them out with a lot of water. How tall is your plant? She is rootbound, so depending on how tall she is, determines how big of a pot she needs to be in.

How often are you feeding your plants that mixture?

I would use around 3 gallons of water to flush your plants out, get rid of the excess nutrients that hav built up, normally when you over fed it can trigger pH changes which help with severity of the nute burn....

so first flush the plant then about 3 to 4 days later transplant her, 12 in tall plants need a 4 liter pot/ 1 gallon size pot minimum.

hey guys.

Well,she´s about 75 cm tall,in a 8 liter pot..and i water her 2 times a week.and even then the soil is still moist...should i let it dry?
Ok then..i´ll do the flush, transplant her.and then give in a liter of water 2ml of grow and 2ml of alga mix..is that ok,or is it still too much?
So if i want to maintain her at the current size,it can only be with prunings, right?
Sorry about all the questions, but it´s the second time this happens.
Temps. are min;15 max 23\24.

Thanks mynamestitch and chrones.

You should learn to lift the pot before and after a watering, you need to let the soil dry out a bit, but not completely dry before you water again.

Right now lift the pot; you will know how the pot does not need watered again, lift it everyday you will see what I am talking about, the pot gets a little lighter everyday...

How are you testing right now to see if the soil is still moist?

Your going to need a 12 liter size pot dude, your plants are 29 inches tall, the pot size you gave will still be too small, depending on when you flower her, you will have to transplant one more time and this time into a 5 gallon size pot/20 liter pot

You should be feeding your plants once a week, every 7 days and use 5ml of grow and2.5 ml of alga mix per gallon of water 4 liters of water.

If you want to maintain her size, you will have to top her now, you cut off the main top stem, 1/2 in from the top. This will cause her to branch out and keep a more bushy state, but you will still have to prune her.

hey man! thanks for the answer....the only thing i forgot was to show a pic of how she looks like right now...she is already bonsai, and came from a clone.yesterday i took 11 clones from her,she looks a bit skinnier...
Here it goes

there! i think you will get a better idea from the pic.

Ok...i will wait for your answer...but tommorow or saturday i will flush her, then wait the 3 or 4 days, then transplant.and then give her the nuts.the only thing is that i only want to make like a 1 liter mix, because i wont use the 4 liters, and it would be a waste.
So i guess in a litre i can use 1.25 of bio grow and maybe 1 ml of alga..does that sound good?
I wont flower her right now,but maybe in 2 or 3 months.

thanks man! really
