Their web site is very unclear.. Actually their web site reminds me of those "get rich quick web business" web sites.. The ones that go on and on and on about their product but dont really tell you anything... :wallbash:
I got a little nervous when I got to their web site and felt like it was one big Spam... In fact they even have that thing I hate where you close your window and it pops up another window say "Wait.. Why did you not order" ugggggggg:mad:

Anyway like the Fox Farms Grow big and Tiger bloom, they have clear instruction on they back of the product for using them on soil based grows...

i doubt soil. but i have been using in 2/3 perlite 1/3 vermiculite. instructions ARE on the back of the containers, at least what i got. have switched back to Flora Nova myself. but just bought what you are looking at, the micro and the bloom, to give them at the end, because it makes my buds smell totally like bubble gum. yum. the flora nova doesnt do that, but it makes for bigger buds. i mix to the 900's ppm which is 2 tsp of micro and 3 of bloom, yes you obviously have to buy more bloom first.

i just re-read your post, i aint using AN, i am talking about GH's products.

You can totally use them in a soil-based grow. That's what they claim on the back of the bottle. There's no reason to though. There's better stuff for soil. I'm assuming you mean soil-less medium... because if it was a full soil grow all the nutrients would already be IN the soil. So actually you're talking about hydro without knowing it. Since all nutrients are given through the water (hydro) not soil (nutrients from the soil). Am I correct?

And also I had that same feeling when I went on their website. Kind of creeps me out, but if they were a full-sized scam they'd of shut down by now. They're just idiots for thinking that sort of advertisement's effective. It just stresses me out and discredits their products.

yes you can use them ferts in soil n/p just feed ferts every other watering and water to waste 15-20% runoff. when soil is fresh it has enough to hold plant over 2-3 wks you'll need nutrients sooner or later unless you've amended your soil before hand!!.

did you mean general hydroponics grow micro and bloom or
{advanced nutrients Micro,Grow bloom} as posted i've used general hydroponics grow micro bloom in coco and soil n/p. for soil i'm very happy with pure blend pro grow and bloom with some powdered koolbloom during flower at certin times.

I am using some Nutes I got at my store and was wondering if next time I should switch and use the AN 3 part Nutes...

Ok I have a dumb question.. I have seen people say this before.. "water to waste 15-20% runoff" What exactly does this mean? That when I water, I need to have 15-20% of the water come out of the bottom of the pot in the drain dish?

And yes I was asking if I can use advanced nutrients Micro,Grow bloom in soil as all I have read about it sounds like its for Hydro only?

Thanks!

Damnit, just typed up this response and then accidentally hit the back button while I was typing. Back on topic...

To answer your question, you're correct about run-off. If you water with one gallon, you should have 1/5th of a gallon come out the bottom. It just helps any salts from being built up in the medium and causing a nutrient lock-out.

To answer the other question, you absolutely can use AN for your soil. I wouldn't recommend it though because it's a waste of money. Chances are very low you'll have a better result than with botanicare or even GH lucas formula. Maybe if every aspect of your room and the strain in it is flawlessly dialed in, then changing to a "better" (more-expensive) nutrient could be beneficial.

Soil-less is when you use something like pro-mix. Pro-mix looks like soil, but it's really just a type of medium because it has NO nutrients in it. ALL nutrients are provided through nutrient enriched watering. Thus it's actually in fact hydroponic, because nutrients are being delivered via the water. The soil you use had nutrients in it to begin with I imagine, therefore it was regular soil. But, after 2-3 weeks I'm sure all the original nutrients were depleted. Thus making the remaining "soil" in fact a nutrient-less medium which you feed yourself. If you were to amend the soil so that the plant could make it all the way through flowering without any feeding, then it would be a true soil grow. Does that make any sense? I'd be happy to clear up any confusion, because it used to confuse the flying shit out of me.

I have been using AN's Micro, Grow, and Bloom along with most of their other nutrients with decent results. I agree with Milehigh though about it kinda being a waste of money though. I am almost out of the base line but still have plenty of their Fulvic, Humic, Carbload, Big Bud, and Overdrive. To be honest I wish I wouldnt have purchased all those nutes cuz i'm sick of mixing all that shit and dont think it's help my yeild much. Planning on going with PBP or Fox Farm along with my FFOF soil. Not sure what of the other nutes i should incorporate with my new base line I choose though....any suggestion would be appreciated.
