Can a 430w Son Agro work on a....

So what I would like to know is can I run a 430w Son Agro HPS on my 400w digital MH/HPS switchable ballast???

I know that 400's and 430's are interchangable but I dont know much about these digital,switchable ballasts.I'd wait for further confirmation.

Come on guys all you HID dudes were quick to tell me to switch so how come nobody knows this question?? Figured it would've been answered quickly.. Please let me know if it will work cuz that's the bulb I want to get with the 30% more blue spectrum for better resin until I add my 4ft T5s to the corners...

Well since people just seem to only lurk in this thread I went and searched a little harder and found a dude running a 400w digital ballast with a Phillips 430w Son Agro HPS bulb so the answer is yes it will work on a digi ballast...

These digital ballasts are new and information is coming out all the time. Why don't you email the factory support emails and see if they have any answers. I know ceramic MH bulbs aren't recommended with digital ballasts...or at least not all of them. I know standard bulbs will work, but the sonAgro might have issues. I hope someone has an answer.

I have a 400 digital ballast that I use with standard bulbs but that's all I've used with it.

This is good to know, I have a lumatek 400 digital and a son agro 430 coming right now. I'm going to make a tent out of metal shelving bars and reflectix, good times are coming
