anyone here own a can 2600? i have a few questions.HOw well do these filters work and how long do they last...also,never had a filter with holes in the end cap.can anyone chime in that owns these filters.thanks

I have a can 2600 in each of my grow-drobes. They work fairly well, should last about a year. Mine also has "holes", although I believe these "holes" are holding large screws. Anyway, filter works pretty good. I also have a few Ona blocks sitting around...

thanx vape...is the flange on the 2600 4"?...Will the vortex attach directly to the filter, with a lil help from duct tape of course?

hmm, i cant remember because its not set up yet. I wanna say it does attach directly. Ill take it out and try tomorrow for ya!

yea the 4in vortex is perfect for the 2600 i had it on for like a year and a half cooling a 400w in my old cab i grew hashberry, satori, and some bagseed lets just say my house would smell like weed before the filter and it didn't after

thanx vape and om!! The 2600 is like half the cost of the 33....I only flower a few plants at a time, so smell won't be super crazy......i got my 4" vortex a few days ago.....it is way loud!!!! definitly going to need a speed control for that!!

when the filter is attached to the fan, it restricts air and the CFMs drop. Alot.

a speed controller will just make that fan even louder than it already is.

Au contraire, mon frere VaporBros...turning the speed down lessens the whoosh of air sound. If you're talking about the humming noise coming from the fan, then you're right; when the whooshing sound is lessened, the motor hum becomes more noticeable. I've had a half dozen fans on various speed controllers and they all can be slowed down to lessen the sound. Most of the sound comes from the high volume of air exiting through a small 4" diameter hole.

Hey i don't know if you have a walley world by you aka the wallmart...lol I just picked up 2, 4" high velocity fans made by Massey, they are really quiet and and only $7 each, im going to give em a run in ducting, see how they do

Those fans will probably suck, just speaking from experience. I tried to go cheap initially and use Home DePot duct fans and they sucked, ended up spending the $$$ and got a real fan...

These are not duct fans, but small table top fans.....Suprisingly they are doing a good job...I have 3 in there at the moment, 2 blowing on the plants, and 1 in the exaust port on top of my DR80.....Passive intake only...Temps are running about 82 with lights, not too bad at all....I even cut a 5 ft piece of my 4" ducting, to see what kind of pressure I got, and im still getting good pressure on the other side, which will eventully get hooked up too the CF2600 filter..I am only running 250w which is not that hard too cool.....I do have the 4"vortex in reserve, just in case
