Camping food storage bags

the bags that they sell to hide odors from bears and wild animals when camping. Are these good enough to throw off a dog. I googled a bears sense of smell, and it turns out that they smell a lot better than a dog.
So by my logic if they can keep food away from a bear, they should be able to throw off a dog for a few days? Anybody have any real life experience.

Cool idea. Do you plan on winching the bags of dope up into a tree?

Edit: I googled it ,, and so far they aren't admitting to training bears to sniff out MJ. But there's a few mice trained to sniff out terrorists at airports!?! (maybe they smell like cheese)

i'm not sure about dogs but they're great for odor-free shipping, knock on wood. check out loksak or opsak brands, same maker I believe. well worth the price in my opinion.

The Dutch have a thing called a "smelly-proof bag" (which sounds most amusing in a Dutch accent) :joint:

Edit:

Googled again... "A common alternative method is bear bagging, wherein items attractive to a bear such as food or other perishables are placed in a bag and then raised into the air using a rope — out of reach of a bear."

Alas 'dog bagging' is the way forward  just remember that the dog-handlers usually have keen eye-sight to compensate for their tiny brains
